    ScienceDaily - Using two of the world's largest telescopes, an international team of astronomers have found evidence of a collision between galaxies driving intense activity in a highly luminous quasar.

      Interesting.

      We know of land bridges that existed in the past between continents on the planet.

      Now we are able to observe a similar bridging between galaxies because of these new telescope technologies.

      What new insights we may gain.

      ahh, telescopes and microscopes. are microscopes revealing the birth of planets, are telescopes revealing omega minus. the solution might just involve size. but then there is the problem of creating a microscope so small that it can only be seen with a telescope equally as big. would that leave room for us?
