Big bang is still on - 08-23-2006, 08:01 AM

Big bang contrary to the common belief, seems to have happened not at a point of spacetime. It is a phenomenon of space time expansion with the matter . And spcaetime from that point of view are aspects of matter. Past and future are perspective of human mind to understand this phenomenon. That very point of time and space , has not evolved over so many years but has become so vast standing over that very moment or call it 14 billion years . That very space has become billion light years big.If you at look it in the direction of time it will seem that it has taken so much of time. Its our problem or limitation to know the truth. The big bang is on, that moment is on and will remain on.

I never knew that it was off?gautam!Seriously though, the universe seems to
respond to the cyclitic pulse of focussed intent! And the intent seems to be
started of with a rather large bang?

regards michael.

Thanx Michael
Time is spherical. In an expanding sphere, measuring time in a linear way creates a distorted reality. In fact, the second passed, even if we break the time into our seconds , was smaller than the second we are living. We are counting the time along one radius of the spherical universe we are living in. The universe is the same moment expanded upto the infinity. In Hindu mythology, it is just one wink of the creator, Brahma. Next He winks shall be the big crunch.

Brahma!

Dear Brother from ur discussions or views about Big bang, and the Expansion of Space time, or more precisely the matter, if gravity gets weak than there is more expansion of space and ultimately "the Big Bangs" but my question is if Gravity becomes strong than does Big Bang Exits ?

Very Warm Regards,
Infinite aaz

I wouldn't think that the Big Bang happened in a point of space-time, because the Big Bang created our space-time, i.e. it didn't exist until after it went bang.

Friends
It is gravity which leads to the idea of bigbang. In fact there is nothing like gravity in this weightless universe.

Re: Big bang is still on - 10-08-2007, 03:33 PM

The Big Bang has no time, time is irrelevant, it operates in the ever present "NOW", it is infinite. Only the matter it produces is finite and it has been producing, is producing, and will continue to produce life. Scientist set different times to this bang and when it was suppose to have happen. Years ago I remember them stating the bang happen about 5bill years ago. Years later they increase the number to 10bill, I believe the telescopes got stronger. It seems the deeper in the universe they investigate the older it gets because now they are saying it began about 15bill years ago. The weird thing about that is astronomers are finding stars that are estimated to be 24bill years in age. How can that be? With evidence like that scientist refuse to except the fact that there is something wrong with their calculations. In my opinion if the universe had a beginning it would not be 10 or 15bill years ago it would be more like 10 or 15 trillion-billion-billion years ago. A number unheard of. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE UNIVERSE HERE PEOPLE. I hear more evidence of an infinite universe then a finite one. Yes the Big Bang is still on.

Or did it...?

Good point, Lloyd... that the big bang created spacetime is just conjecture on my part. It would be interesting to try to deduct whether or not spacetime is a result/effect of the big bang. It 'feels' right to me because it would explain why inflation occurred very simply; in that by blowing up into 'nothing',i.e. spacetime was created 'behind' the initial wavefront of the BB, energy would not have been constrained by the speed of light (C) in our spacetime (just like C has a different unique value in water or glass).
