NOW WE KNOW HOW SPACE-TIME IS CURVED! Accordingto Einstein’s general theory of relativity (GTR),our universe was built with four-dimension space-time but it is impossible to visualize how the curve space-time is! As Richard P. Feynman word “We live in three-dimension space and we are going to consider the idea that three-dimension space is curved ……, we can’t imagine space being bent in any direction because our imagination isn’t good enough ….”. Or according to Stephen W. Hawking word “It is impossible to imagine a four dimensional space.” Also based on GTR, our universe is what was called “hypersurface of hypheresphere”. Again there is no one that could understand or visualize it either! What was wrong with GTR? Of course we knew that the theory should not be wrong because we have learned that it have passed several well known tests such as the bending of light ray while passing near the sun. So there must be something in the theory that is missing; something that leads to wrong interpretation! The obvious clue of the wrong interpretation is the nature of vacuum space in GTR, which is assumed tobe empty space. It is Einstein’s genius that he could imagine (guided byMach’s principle and the principle of equivalence)how to link an energy-momentum tensor to describe the curvature of the emptyspace-time! But it comes with a problem followed; that is how “nothing” could be curved. When you say “a surface is curved”, it means “surface of something is curved” such as a surface sheet (two-dimension curved surface), which is no problem. But we could not get the same thing with three-dimension curve space from nothing! So, the best thing we can do is just using method of analogy, and this leads to the mentioned problem above. Based on the concept of the existing of “something” that is the “dark matter” in which all cosmologists are still searching. (And actually it is “vacuum medium energy” which is the fabric structure of space-time instead of the believed “empty space-time”.) Now, then it is easy to see how the space is curved. And we would found that the curvature of “vacuum medium space-time” is the “space-time with non-uniform density of vacuum medium energy”! Detail with simple explanation in scientific way was shown in “Completed Einstein general theory of relativity (CGTR)”, which is presenting in www.vacuum-mechanics.com. Also inCGTR, we will show how much the existing vacuum medium energy (dark matter) is! We will understand the mechanism of gravity; why and how masses attract each other! And we will found that actually hypheresphere” is an ordinary sphere. Finally we would found that CGTR could pave the way to the theory of everything! ………………………………………

As I understand this, we are a three dimensional being/object in a universe which has definitely more than three dimension. By virtue of that, the three-dimensinal structures are the one we comprehend best. Even a two-dimensional thing is what we can imagine but the moment we try to give it a shape it becomes three dimensional e.g a sheet of paper is two dimesional only until we reach its border. The concept of finite and infinite as we know is only in relation to the three dimesional things . It may be totally irrelevant in respect of space-time which has certainly more than three dimensions. Dimensions determine shape. What are the shapes possible for something having more than three dimesion is a riddle for human mind and will perhaps be never solved.
kind regards

Gautam, the extra dimensions are just abstract subjective perceptual ideas, to help us understand the true mechanics of the real 3D, 3K universe...

Dear Gautam, Lloyd Gillespie and friends, Talking about the extra spatial dimensions beside our familiar 3-D (excluded time); anyone could have their own idea. But the decision is that which idea is more rational and understandable, this is the way of the progression of science! For mainstream physicists (which follow Einstein idea) prefer to think that there is a fourth spatial dimension (which was called hyperspace) in which our 3-D space could be embedded (the same concept as that 2-D curve surface could be thought to embed in 3-D space). This is a mathematically trick that they used to explain how 3-D space could be curved. Actually this extra fourth dimension is not real, it is only an imagination! So what follow is that no one could understand it. The worst thing is that god (nature) was blamed for creation of the imperfect human which could not see the fourth dimension! Now come back to see how the 3-D space is curved. We have learned (from GTR) that the bending of light ray path near the heavy mass such as the sun, and it was interpreted that the space around is curve. Of course we believe in the bending of light ray, but we could explain it in other understandable way such as the bending of light ray passing through the earth atmosphere. It is not the atmosphere that is curved; instead it is due to the non-uniform density of air of the atmosphere! Based on the concept that there is “something” in space, something called vacuum medium (introduced in the first post) which is analogous to the familiar aether. Then it is easy to understand how space-time is curved, in the same way as how the atmosphere is curved. So this is the more rational explanation of curved space-time, isn’t it? Nimit Th.

Hi Gautam, I just always replaced Einstein's curved space light idea with simple gravity. Any light ray passing the mass of the sun would be drawn in toward such mass, period___the simplest explanation. You are correct, Gautam...
Thanks,

Dear Lloyd Gillespie and friends, You are right about the simple idea of the bending light ray path around the sun by gravitational force according to Newton’s law. This is the classical concept in which we need not to worry about the geometry of space-time. Indeed it is equivalent to the modern concept of variable geometry of space-time which need not worry about the gravitational force. This comparison was done by a famous philosopher, Bertrand Russell in his book “The analysis of matter”. In the topic of “Geodesic”, Russell had studied and discussed an interesting view about the physics’ philosophy of relativity. Sincerely, Nimit Th.

Hi VM, Ouspensky also did. He said, "Relativity was just intellect, inside intellect, looking at itself." I missed Russell's physics' philosophy of relativity idea, what was it?

actually, as to the number of dimensions in so-called reality, string theorists and brane theorists and m theorists believe there are 4, 11, 10, or even 31 dimensions, only they are wrapped up very small, smqaller than the planck length so you can't see them or know they are there. i kid you not.
my own Portal to the Multiverse blog, for instance, is an m-brane spacetime stargate compactified within 11-dimensional super-duper-stringy quantum foam Welcome Seeker. Your coming has been foretold in the ancient scrolls of prophecy. Many have sought the fabled Portal to the Multiverse; all have died, horribly, their screams of tormented madness lost in the silence of Dark Lord Casimir's vacuum, where even ontology itself is driven to dark despair. You, on the other hand, have done well to get this far. But have you the intestinal fortitude to choose a wormhole and laugh in the face of your doom?! Mwarahaharrgharhaho!! Dear magic and friends, Honestly I am not so interest in string theory with extra dimensions beside our familiar 3-D (excluded time). For my opinion, any the extra dimension is the main theme of mathematic not physics! And I still believe in the classical with intuitive concept. Anyway, I am ready to change my mind in the future if it comes to the dead end. Sincerely, Nimit Th.

space-time can not be curved . it is impossible. this is a mathematical illusion.
show that either space or time has within themselves a fabric unto themselves , that can be curved!! it has NEVER been proved that either space or time has any such physical manifestion.
it is ASSUMED that space and time have a fabric unto themselves . but it has never been proven because no-one has asked. I ask.
