    Re: Big Bang ?

    Good answer Bottomlander.

    My research: ( http://www.kheper.net/cosmos/universe/universe.htm)
    states, when the universe was only 1 second old that the radius was already 4 light years long. protons and neutrons and therefor hydrogen were formed at.000001 second. It took helium 100 seconds before it was formed.

    My second research had to do with sound traveling through hydrogen. No problem, in fact it travels ~4x faster than in air.( less dense ).

    So I'll keep my original view for now, unless there is more scientific evidence that I need to look at.

    Best to all,

    Pat

    Re: Big Bang ?

    Dear Pat,

    One major issue that troubles me is that, in the time of the big ban (assuming they were simultaneous), were there any particles/waves disregarding the fundamental fermions, bosons etc. Perhaps, there was a triggering entity (perhaps not so divine as one imagines), that disassembled into minor particles 'or equivalent'. At this stage, we are merely hypothesising what 'could' have been there, but the uncertainty fluctuates too radically to even envisage that period. Although dialectical refinement can prove itself somewhat useful in these conceptual/idealistic discussions.

    By the way, your reactions to a big BANG, and the reason behind it, to me was very cunning and ingenious. Good on you Pat! Maybe you are right .

    Best regards

    Thanks Zelta;

    I don't think you can get smaller than a string Zelta.
    I guess it can be viewed as one dimensional and 10 to the minus 43power in size, and vibrating.

    The triggering agent ( since I am a theist would be God), the agency could be negative repulsive gravity.

    This anti/gravity could be the reason for the universal expansion. Regular gravity is the attractive force.
    This could achieve equilibrium.

    This of course is very speculative.

    As far as the sound of the (big bang, big silence)?

    Also thanks for the "dialectical refinement" thought,
    that idea could become very useful to me in future research.

    Best to all,

    Pat

    No. There is no sound in space. I'm no scientist but from what I have read and remembered from school, air is needed to produce sound. That is the one thing that is absent from the Big Bang. I say "is" because the Big Bang has been banging is banging and will continue to bang. It is the one thing that is truly infinite.

    Hi everyone;

    And for the scientific answer from New Scientist magazine:

    Re: Big Bang ?

    A friend of mine said maybe the Big Bang was not a bang, maybe it was a hummm, being there is no sound in space. I said mmmmm that's something to think about. I said to her if thats the case then, the hum has been humming, is humming and will continue to hum because in this hum there is no time, it only exist in the ever present Now. No beginning no end. Out of this hum comes the creation of existence.

    Hmmmm!

    I wonder if that is the 3 degree BGR.
