A theory on a collapsing universe and the impact on dark energy and dark matter

This is my first post to this forum. I would like to get some feed back on the theory.

    Premise:

At the beginning there was a shapeless, dimensionless point containing the unified force which was carried by densely packed sub-atomic particles. Since gravity had not yet split off from the “unified force”, space/time did not exist.

Random activity surged within the point until the chaos was broken by a “chance” alignment of the sub-atomic particles. This event triggered an instantaneous reaction which simultaneously spread the subatomic particles apart from this beginning point while releasing the four forces from their bonds of confinement.

Instantaneously, the release of the gravitational force establishes the “time / space” continuum and the space which formerly occupied a dimensionless point has become a spherical universe of particles and energy stretching across billions of light years in all directions.

Although only a fraction of a pica second had elapsed, the newly released gravity created the expanse of space and time, and more importantly created the environment whereby all the laws of physics would apply to the newly formed universe. Acted upon by the force of gravity, electromagnetic, weak and strong nuclear forces, the sub-atomic particles throughout the universe began to form elements and build stars and galaxies.

At the very center of this new universe, the remnants from the inflation event contained residual matter and energy. Under the newly formed gravitational influence matter began to attract forming what was to become a Super Massive Black Hole. A collapse of the universe had begun.

Observation in support of a universe in collapse:

Satellite imagery indicates that most galaxy’s appear to be red shifted when viewed from the Milky Way. If the universe was flat then the red shift would indicate the universe is expanding versus contracting. However, the universe occupies a space shaped like a multi-dimensional, multi-level sphere with a Super Massive Black Hole at its center.

Galaxies between the Milky Way and the Super Massive Black Hole in the center of the universe travel to the center faster then does the Milky Way; hence will be red shifted when viewed. Galaxies at a level further away from the center would also appear red shifted when viewed because the Milky Way is closer the center of the universe and traveling faster than these outer galaxies.

An impact on the need for Dark energy and matter:

If the universe is contracting versus expanding, it would appear there is no need for “dark energy” when contemplating the aforementioned model of the universe. Furthermore, if there is a Super Massive Black Hole at the center of universe with additional Black Holes at the center of most galaxies, would it not be reasonable to theorize that all the gravitational force associated with these Black Holes would obviate the need for “dark matter” to offset the lack of standard matter as indicated by current computer models of the universe.

The combined gravitational forces associated with the Super Massive Black Hole at the center of universe and all the other Black Holes keeps the galaxies intact on their journey to the center of the universe where all matter, energy and the four forces will again be compressed into a shapeless, dimensionless point containing the unified force carried by densely packed sub-atomic particles.

Re: A theory on a collapsing universe and the impact on dark energy and dark matter

    Hi TFI;

    Welcome to the forum.

I read your theory and have just a few comments regarding it.

The first is the universe coming from a dimensionless point. Being a theist myself I have no problem with this idea, but you have the old something from nothing paradox by starting with a dimensionless point ( essentially nothing ).

May I suggest string theory to avoid this problem:

Singularities are avoided because the observed consequences of "Big Crunches" never reach zero size. In fact, should the universe begin a "big crunch" sort of process, string theory dictates that the universe could never be smaller than the size of a string, at which point it would actually begin expanding.

Here we have what could be a cyclic universe, eternal yet created when the big crunch gets smaller than a 1 dimensional Planck length string.

Also you mention the elements creating stars. I believe according to Fred Hoyles theory the stars create the elements. It’s called Nucleosynthesis. The big bang does create two elements hydrogen and helium, which creates the stars, which then creates all the other elements.

You also mention the center of the universe having a massive black hole. I thought the center was the tip of your nose, no the tip of my nose. In other words there is no specific center. Also is there any evidence for this Super Massive Black HOLE. I know there are super massive black holes ( plural not singular ).

You mention 4 forces at the beginning, but I believe the standard model has the strong and weak force being part of the EM force, at the very beginning. Also my own theory An Idea has incorporated the strong and weak force as part of the EM force.

Just some of my thoughts I wanted to share with you. Obviously the beginning and ending of the universe is full of conjecture, these are some of mine.

Best to you, and again welcome.

    Pat
