    In physical terms the best I came up is the square of local infinitesimal differential energy. This is similar to the square modulus of complex wave function in quantum mechanics. However, in quantum field theory (QFT) the phase angle shift is very difficult to measure. This phase shift is a way to differentiate the different properties of yin and yang or in the lingoes of QFT for the separation of symmetric and antisymmetric wave functions.
    Time independence: [∂E(g)]²=[∂F(a)×∂r(a)]·[∂F(b)×∂r(b)] and Mass independence: a(tr(t)=c²

    particle and antiparticle

    Symmetry and antisymmetry were used for the descriptions respectively for boson and fermion. These alone do not completely describe what a four dimensional yin-yang since within the groups of bosons and fermions there exist their respective antiparticles. Therefore nature appears to be much more complicated, not just a two-fold symmetry but fundamentally a four-fold hidden symmetry at the local infinitesimal level controlled by three distinctive types of charges: electric, color, and hypercharge.

    distinguishing what is what

    I forgot to mention that symmetry and antisymmetry is needed to justify the existence of identical particles such as electron, proton, neutron, etc.. In the human level this is analogous to individual identity. In the United States, we have our social security number for identifying each person whether male or female. There is no similar scheme in the the description of elementary particles, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identical_particles.

    In reading this thread I was as usual amused at the meanderings more or less circulating around the same and related ideas, but I realized that what we really need in the quest for TOE is conviction. You see, I believe that in whatever is being written there is usually a seed of truth in it that gives the basis in gist for the rest of it. And when HG mentioned her pet theory, which I have read before, and now find interesting in its possibilities, I think that it may be appropriate to start a new thread about our pet theories, the rationale being that in digging a little deeper behind the little truths about our convictions, whether we may realize that we have them or not, we may be able to get closer to some real conclusions about the fundamental nature of reality. And that is ultimately our objective after all. I for one think that this board is not so much a social forum as much as it is a serious attempt to explain the reality behind the things that have most people wondering. We posters are after all drawn to it for a reason, and the purpose of this board explains it, at least I think it does.

    Which leads me to wonder, what would be your pet theory, if you have one, Antonio? Just wondering. Now, dig deep, and don't come up with some brilliant little bit of sponteneity. There has to be some kind of thread happening in the back of your mind, and I haven't been able to extrapolate it as yet, based on those attempts to start new discussions all the time. It seems that you drift, because you rarely if ever elaborate or follow up. A beautiful idea is a terrible thing to waste, maybe, but worse if left abandoned.

    I'm glad you noticed it. That means there has to be a current somewhere unless if you happened to see a floating object at the edge of a spillway you will also notice that it will never fall over the edge because there is no current in term of a force to do the pushing.
