    Well Guille,
Then u r not unethical, instead u r immoral & there is a 'healthy' difference between the two!

u might say, somethings are necessary for yur existence & somethings are not. & by existence I donot merely mean physical existence, but also, existence as in "who/what u think/feel u r"!

What is exactly the difference between unethical and immoral? (my English isn't good, and many times the same word in english and spanish actually mean different things (for example, in spanish 'propaganda' means advertising of all kind, publicity)).

    Re: No Ethics

Truth is a form of freedom, and not saying or doing anything that would bother you if anyone found out about is a good guideline of what to or not to do. Someone tried to blackmail me into covering up something for her by threatening to post a private chat conversation we had, but what she didn't realize was that I don't say anything behind anyone's back that I wouldn't say in front of them, and in that case had already said the same thing in front of the people she was going to post the conversation for. Needless to say, her blackmail did not work. People will still lie about you, and others will believe their lies, but what is important to me is that I know that I am living in truth.

Some people live in a world of deceit, and they think they are fine with that. They may have a level of anxiety about being caught, or they feel bad about getting caught (or maybe more accuratly they feel bad about having to suffer the consequences of their misdeeds), but for some odd reason they experience a level of freedom by not accepting personal responsibility.

The freedom provided by truth is still not total freedom, just as the freedom of living ethically is not total freedom, but living an ethical life tends to work out best for most people - even though paradoxically it can be the harder thing to do.

One who is amoral (can't tell right from wrong) is different from one who is immoral (intentionally does wrong), but both the amoral and the immoral should have guidelines imposed on them for the sake of greater society. The consequences should be different though. For example, if a 2 year old sticks a pillow over a baby to quiet the noise, the pillow should be removed and the child informed how wrong that is. If an average adult does the same thing, the adult should be legally punished (prison, etc.). If a significantly retarded adult does the same thing, that person should be kept away from babies forever, but prison would not be appropriate because the wrongness of his actions are beyond his comprehension.

    Re: No Ethics

You have inside of you the ability to respond, but it is your choice to make. It is sad you had to be put in such a position, but simply talk it out there, and find you are not alone, and some only know how to do things one way. Be thankful, you are free to do more. Hi, Elizabeth, and you have been heard, and inside of you, I hope you hear answers that tell you how this should go. In your favor, and in your honor.
