Because you claim to know the TOE (which in itself is fine, don't care. If you want to talk about it, lets talk. If not that is fine too.) but then you say you will reveal it if we all have faith in you. But we all have to do this first before you will tell us.

You lose credibility and I wonder who's posts am I reading, I have come across this attitude before, in my children.

Then you make references to yourself, since you are the great discover of the TOE, this equates you in some way to the messiah. I would not consider myself to be a very religious man but even I have a problem with the arrogance in that statement alone.

The rest of your words seem to be of someone who struggles with the pain he see's around the world that man causes upon his fellow man. Oh this, this I do understand well my friend.

But Robert makes a very good point. It would be a shame if you truly did know the TOE but lost your audience.

I hope you find some sense in my words and don't just take them as a personal assault.

I fully appreciate your constructive criticism. It means the world to me. The main thing you did that made me mad was use my name in vain, as in Walstadainanity. I think that was rude and slightly disrespectful. Sure I may think highly of myself, I may be ecstatic that I know the TOE, but I am still just a humble person and I don't cut other people down on a personal basis and I try not to make fun of their last names.

Saying that whoever discovers the TOE is like a Messiah is just a naked statement, and it's not intended to be controversial. A messiah is just someone who brings great news and knowledge right? So if you know the TOE, you should know that it makes you kind of like a messiah in a surprisingly weird way right? Or maybe it doesn't. That's just how it seems to me but I can admit that I might be wrong. You must help me decide dwing because I want to listen to everything you have to say. When used in the context of the TOE I don't consider the term "Messiah" to have anything to do with religion, so maybe that's why I think messiah is an ok term to use. Another reason I think "Messiah" could be a good term is because it puts a historical perspective on things and ties the TOE in with mythologies that we've had since the beginning of time. Don't get me wrong, I also realize that messiah is a very bad term for many reasons but mainly because people's definition of the word varies. To most ppl it does not mean TOE discoverer so perhaps it is a bad word to use. Maybe we can find a new definition though?

In conclusion, I appreciate the constructive criticism. I will make it a point to calm down. I also appreciate the point Robert made. I certainly don't want to scare anybody away from the greatest thing of all time!!!! Keep talking to me, we're doing good. Will you apologize for using my last name in vain please? ps. I'm sorry for ever even mentioning the word messiah. All I meant is that I've discovered the TOE. Whether that person is like a messiah or not is a totally mute point, I know.

PS There have been many men and women who have walked this earth over the years that have done some pretty fantastic things in their own right, in the obstactles that life presented, where their interest had taken them, where their heart tells them. Because it was not the answer to the TOE does not lessen their achievements or value that they have given even if only benefited one. No less worthy of praise or honor.

Yeah, I purposely said "name in vain" because it sounds like a God reference. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. Lies are nonexistent in the theory of everything. They need not exist in the shadow of everything. There will be no room for falsehood and half-truths. There will be completeness as we have never known. Why would anyone who has a TOE even need to lie? That would be absurd! That would be humorous, wouldn't it? I never thought about proof. I just never thought anyone could lie either. It took me a little by suprise that anyone would even suggest a lie. I don't need proof at all. Your words and work will be fine on their own.

All these expectations, so many people waiting for a theory to unify mankind. Souls disappointed in religion's dogma and lack of any meaning in an enlightened society. Consciousness crying out for simplicity, for order and predictability in a world ruled by perceptions, randomness and Darwinian survival and cold evolution, void of love and/or warmth.
IMHO, the scientific TOE will be the unification of QM with GR, nothing more. It will not solve our problems, will not destroy false beliefs and religious strive, will not cure world hunger, will not unify us into the great brotherhood of mankind but only make the back pages of the local news papers.

I find it interesting that you, Subversion, make the TOE seem literally like a scientific messiah. It has so many similarities to a religious messiah. For example, humans living in a Utopia, each person doing what he was meant to do, and everyone just being happy and appreciative of life and existence. They used to say that religion and science are polar opposites, but in the modern world, they are moving closer and closer together, finding compromise and agreement in new fields. I cannot wait to hear your TOE, for it just might be the extra nitch that unifies science and religion together in harmony. I believe that if your TOE is what you make it seem to be, then it will be the means to bring about the religious messiah as well. After all, global peace is global peace is global peace, and no one can argue differently.

I will say this though: I don't think that your dream will be realized in this lifetime, no matter how hard you try or how great a leader you are. As Freud believed, humans are born evil and learn good from society and others. Humans will learn to appreciate life only after they've lost a lot of it. As it was said the movie Fight Club, "It is only after you've lost everything that you are free to do anything." Thus the balance of the universe.

P.S. When will you reveal your TOE. Is there a set date or something?
