If a 50,000megatonBombAirburst a mile above L.A., would there be any noise? ("What?")

What do kids, dogs, money & guns too often have in common?
What kids, dogs, money & guns too often have in common is that they control their owners - or parents - rather than conversely.

    Whaddaya think of that observation?

What does this portend in the larger picture of people and society?

What might be learned from this unfortunate fact?

Are there some people who just never will catch on (never will hear or get the word), regarding these subjects and their common lessons?

Any suggestions on improvement and educational procedures or approaches?
(George Berkeley, 1710) ... lay the beginning in a distinct explication of what is meant by thing, reality, existence: for in vain shall we dispute concerning the real existence of things, or pretend to any knowledge thereof, so long as we have not fixed the meaning of those words.

"Reality is an illusion - albeit a persistent one." - Einstein
"Particles give me a headache." - Ibid

You have said much about modern society my friend,it is a sad world where adults cry
about the death of fictional folk on soap-opera's,and people trample each other in a stampede to be the first into a department store to buy the lastest fashion crap, some
bloated guru in the south of France has dreamt up,while tripping out of his/her head
on all manner of illicit substances.

    regards michael.
