About a year ago, several network TV channels featured corporate state designated 'consumer advocates', who spent about five minutes each, assertively explaining that a series of featured food products were appearing in 'identical, but smaller containers'; at the same price as the previously larger containers: "...because the manufacturer apparently didn't want to raise the price."
Refer, George Orwell's 1984 novel's 'NewQuackSpeakDoubleTalk'.
Any comparable bargains happening in your neighborhood?
Cheers,
- RP (George Berkeley, 1710) ... lay the beginning in a distinct explication of what is meant by thing, reality, existence: for in vain shall we dispute concerning the real existence of things, or pretend to any knowledge thereof, so long as we have not fixed the meaning of those words.
