Moods good or bad are quite contagious…
To hold your tongue when wronged is courageous
When dealing with loved ones outrageous;
In the short run this is advantageous.

Gee Austie...I just learned that lesson "to hold your tongue when wronged is courageous"...after it was over...I was whooped....hurt terribly because I took part in that confrontation.....will not be doing that again...smiles
Only in the short run, since, until anger cools down, the loved ones or friends may not be in their right mind to share your learning. You wouldn't want to enable behavior that could then get so grooved as to cause problems in friendships, marriages alter on.
It can also work to still say things direct or calming right away--depends on the reception received. Never know beforehand except for those you really know.

In the long run it only grows into hurting....I guess I was shocked at the bluntness of profanity when I had not really done anything...but yes we can handle something wrong and enable anger...believe me I will not do that again...I like Melanie..as I told her privately and in the thread...we were suffering the mother pangs....makes us emotional....smiles
