    AmericanTerrorism: An Analysis

    Arkancide

Arkancide is the unfortunate habit of potential witnesses to the Clintons' dirty dealings in Arkansas suddenly deciding to shoot themselves twice in the back of the head. Police and Coroners in Arkansas, notably Fahmy Malak who answered to Governor Bill Clinton, automatically described these shootings as "suicides."
After Bill Clinton became President the phenomenon spilled over to Washington D.C. when Hillary Clinton's ex-lover Vincent Foster was "Arkancided."
The Arkancide website consists of a history of the Clintons and their misdeeds in Arkansas and the White House, a list of books about the Clintons, a section on Hillary Clinton, which is rapidly growing and becoming increasingly relevant to all of us, and a section on the press and their view of Hillary as "she who can do no wrong."
If you're in a hurry and can't spare the week or two that it would take to follow all these links, at least read the three-part history of Hillary Clinton by Cockburn and St. Clair and the 29 episodes of The Real Hillary Clinton

Arkancide.com is run by someone who doesn't believe in UFO's or that the Moon landings were faked or that JFK was shot by a guy on the grassy knowle or that Elvis is alive (sorry!) or that Princess Diana was liquidated by MI6 or... well any of that type of nonsense.
Conspiracy theorists are idiots and I'm pleased not to be one of them. There was nothing "theoretical" about the Mena/ADFA conspiracy or the Whitewater conspiracy or the Cattle Futures conspiracy or Filegate or Travelgate or Bloodgate or... I'll finish the list when I get a moment!

Editorial Note: Although the value of the following information speaks for its redemptive self, I do take issue with - and do not consider as 'nonsense' - the dismissal of subject of UFO's (when responsibly reported - Google: 'Mexico City, July 11, 1991 UFO'S'), and the strongly documented issues of the JFK assassination (the 'grassy knoll' is very likely the location from which the final and fatal shot was fired), and, the very real possibility that Princess Diana was murdered.
On the other hand the 'Elvis is alive' school of thought has been a a grim comedy since that lark became popular. I do not consider all conspiracy theorists to be 'idiots', since a great deal of criminal activity is hatched by way of coordinated activity of large and small groups of perpetrators in and out of civilian and military government.
If two customers in a convenience store have agreed that one of them will divert the clerk while the other steals a candy bar - that's a conspiracy, and of course, such collusions happen routinely. The meaning of the word 'conspiracy' is still a dictionary definition having a specific meaning where applicable.

Any expression that the 'Clinton issues' are historically past tense is a vacant dismissal of fact that there is no statute of limitations on murder, and Hillary Clinton as the incumbent Secretary of State.

    That being said:

Rascal ... This is a Science forum. Why are you making it a platform for political statements. Why shouldn't I close this thread ?

    Dear Greg:
TQ is divided into categories, this one is the specific subject of 'Ethics' under the generality of 'Philosophy', sort of like 'Jihad' being more about religion and ethics rather than politics, though certainly such issues are not uncommonly evaluated in a political perspective. Deja vu.

Of course you're altogether free to close it if you don't think massive - ongoing - serial murder and terrorism as governmental policy is not directly germane to ethics. Certainly the criminally culpable individuals and groups responsible for this apparently endless, unchecked policy of atrocities would prefer to categorize their actions as being of a 'political' nature, rather than a philosophically studied ethical issue.

    Best regards,
    - RP

    re: AmericanTerrorism: An Analysis

It is proving interesting to observe the principle of 'freedom of speech' in action in the land of the free. Some readers may find the ethics of the actions being taken against Amazon.com to be an interesting read.

The web hosting arm of Amazon.com has dropped WikiLeaks from its servers, driving the controversial website to migrate to a Swedish host after releasing a rash of sensitive U.S. State Department cables.

Senator Joe Lieberman, chairman of the Senate committee on homeland security and governmental affairs, confirmed on Wednesday that Amazon.com Inc. decided to stop hosting the site after congressional staffers contacted the company to inquire about its relationship with WikiLeaks.

WikiLeaks bought space on servers owned by Amazon Web Services, the computing services arm of Amazon, following online attacks targeting its site.

Lieberman, an independent, called on other companies to follow Amazon's example and boycott WikiLeaks.

"The company's decision to cut off WikiLeaks now is the right decision and should set the standard for other companies WikiLeaks is using to distribute its illegally seized material," Lieberman said in a statement.

"I call on any other company or organization that is hosting WikiLeaks to immediately terminate its relationship with them."

    re: AmericanTerrorism: An Analysis

Official America's reaction to the largest leak of confidential government files in history is tipping over towards derangement. What the White House initially denounced as a life-threatening "criminal" act and Hillary Clinton branded an "attack on the international community" has been taken a menacing stage further by the newly emboldened Republican right.

WikiLeaks' release of 250,000 United States embassy cables – shared with the Guardian and other international newspapers – was an act of terrorism, Senator Peter King declared. Sarah Palin called for its founder Julian Assange to be hunted down as an "anti-American operative with blood on his hands", while former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has demanded that whoever leaked the files should be executed for treason.
    'Hunted down'?

    'Executed for treason'?

This is going a bit beyond the pale, in my opinion.

My apologies in advance, Rascal, if my postings become the tipping point between ethics and censorship.

    re: AmericanTerrorism: An Analysis

This thread will need to show that it is an analysis of the situation and not a statement for one or the other (wiki-leaks or the US government)

If it strays Rascal ... I will have to close it ...

There is no Wiki reference for Arkancide .... there are a number of sites that I would not consider reputable that use this term.

Here is an Arkansas song by an Australian band ... enjoy ..

    re: AmericanTerrorism: An Analysis

Neither of Wiki-leaks or the U.S. Government was of any interest to this individual, until the limitations on freedom of speech on the one hand, and the inflamatory remarks by persons in positions of power on the other.

I shall sleep on the matter and ponder upon the ethics involved, and how the enforcement of those ethics may have some far reaching consequences for international trade and personal freedom of speech.

Unless, of course, this forum has received warning from other than Robert.

I'm sorry ... but I don't really understand your last post lorrina.

Unless its a yankee thing ?

So far as I know Robert hasn't even read this thread. Rascal just has a habit of posting his own political agendas under the disguise of the 'common weal'. But he argues better than me and so mostly he gets away with it.
