    interpreting E=mc˛

i think it might indeed not be right to say everything is energy.

Matter is energy and energy is matter; matter and energy are equivalent.

i think they are just a discription of the same 'thing'. When you are saying "it's energy", then i think you are discribing something from a perspective.
When you are saying "it's matter", then i think you are also discribing something from a perspective. But i think eventually you are talking about the same 'thing'.

MATTER IS NOT ENERGY; IT HAS ENERGY AND IT HAS MASS. It has these due to motion.

This is something which MUST NECESSARILY be agreed. I welcome anybody who doesn't agree with it, to leave the forums. This is a constructive webpage, we don't want destructive members. Thanks dave for having stated it perfectly. It should be one of the few statements that toequest should have (if it had a list of 'absolute statements for toequesters').

Smile you cannot a-void the matter .

Dave, I do not want to be controversial, but I feel that one needs to mention that the title of your thread is incorrect, there is NO matter in the void, that is why it is called a void,by the way! There is matter of course in space, but then space is NOT the void! The void is de-void of absolutely everything, and that of course includes the matter of matter.

    kind regards michael.

The void is the infinite place where matter and our universe exists. You are not being controversial, you are only being quite WRONG Michael. Void is also synonymous with space and vacuum. I prefer to consider it as separate, as in absolute void. Your personal opinions should reflect accepted facts and definitions.

Sorry Michael, Dave is quite correct here...

OK Dave, i'll answer this in all honesty (then i mean the honesty of just what i think now).

So hold on, i'm not stating against what you are saying here; cause at this moment i still believe in it myself. You might not really believe it, but i also believed in what you are saying here the moment i was stating "mass is energy and energy is mass". Of course i have to admit i just started to think on these things now, (and i have to admit i haven't done this for a week now, cause i again took everything to personally).

Anyway at this moment i also have to say i believe "matter is energy and energy is matter" also, and at this moment i don't just believe it, i consider it to be a fact.

Now i'm just guessing, but i think you are an advocate of the theory of strings.

i think the idea that the laws of physics are embodied one way or another in the structure of what we call empty space, or the void, or the vacuum, is likely to become something which will remain, but i think it'll also remain an open question whether the theory of strings or the results of that will present an explanation for this.

i don't think, we will have a TOE, maybe we will have a new physics; i also think there will be new discoveries in fundamental physics.

Anyway i can't answer this; (cause i just started to look myself); so i won't state you are wrong but at this moment i won't state you are right also. i'll be in touch (i take time to think).

In the mean time, people, keep looking and thinking (you could be right)and stating.

Another thing, the main reason why i stated it was just because i wouldn't forget it myself. Stating things makes me thinking and remembering.

    Greetings,
    David.

Dave, it seems i stated against you by accident.

So people remain calm and keep on thinking and posting in the mean time; LOL!
