Thumbs up "in The Quest For Eternal Energy" - 06-15-2006, 11:25 AM

I thought we could use a little brake in discussing the matters concerning of our souls and our spirituality and travel [with our imagination of course] into a more mundane world... Let's say: ENERGY?

I will ask all interested in putting their mind to work in this issue to propose how would they imagine our human civilization will deal with the source of energy in the future. What do you think will become the greatest and cheapest form of energy that could offer not only electrical power to our homes but to our ways of transportation both here on Earth and the cosmos?

I confess to you that I have some crazy ideas about this topic but I'd like to hear from you first a coupple of them.

Solar? Nuclear? Gravity based? Atmospheric?

Give me your best shot and let's analyse one by one all of them.

See you soon!

Thanks for the topic HBD,my thoughts on the quest for eternal energy, would
be,tapping in to the "solar wind" and using electromagnetism as a limitless and polution free source of fuel,we have I believe the knowhow already to use this, just a matter of expanding its use!

kind regards michael.

Isn't there some way to exploit gravity for energy? I think that would truely be limitless. Even the sun will eventually die...

Synchronized wave harmonic cold fusion.

Cool Re: "in The Quest For Eternal Energy" - 06-17-2006, 03:14 PM

Okay, I'm not sure what that is Dave, but I think we can find vast amounts of energy in our own cells.

Talking Re: "in The Quest For Eternal Energy" - 06-26-2006, 11:57 AM

Cold fusion seems to be a myth after many trials... I'm not an expert but I don't have any expectation in obtaining any useful energy after investing huga amount of it in trying to accomplish what took the universe billions of years in the making. Elements could be divided with the lep of fision and produce energy from the broken bond existent inside it, but fusion sounds to me like making wine from water without the intervention of a miracle... I don't know.
Interesting I mentioned gravity and I had no idea when I wrote about it about how could gravity may be put to use in the generation of energy...(!)
How many of you have thought about storing the E-M energy liberated in a thunderstorm?
If there weas a way to put in use the static process that produce the thunder even before it becomes critical it would be an eternal and cheap way to generate electricity...
A tall building needs to be grounded since the potential being produced between the top and the bottom of the structure could be life threatening... Could such structure be feasible in a place where tropical storms are characterized by the discharge of electrical sparks?
Imagine a huge condenser built so high that allowed the static to build up to the point to be useful and at the same time limiting the process...

Now, why did I mentioned gravity as a source of energy?
That remains a question. I have the feeling there is a source there too.
