Thanks for the links POK, they're really interesting. I found some information on one of them about anti-gravity and how it's really electromagnetism, the document is in another thread called 'Anti-gravity: possible but not practical'. There's so many different ways that you can use electromagnetism to defy the force of gravity.
I think that you're right about magnetism and how it represents opposites which are apparent in our world, and the ying-yang duality.
The underground researchers have dicovered great technology but they are turned away by mainstream science because of its impact on the globe.

It's also an asset to the theory Micheal that the esoteric teachings containing a form of electromagnetism because it takes the theory out of the physical realm and into a more spiritual realm, which a TOE should, encompassing everything.

Yes NOBODY, there is evidence of magnets being repelled by the Earth's magnetic field. This was discovered in 1974 by someone working for NASA, there's a video on youtube.com. He ordered two powerful neodymium magnets with holes in the centres and bolted them together with their fields repelling N N. The magnetic field from this was 3ft around the bolted magnet. He then encased it and made it look like a rock and made another rock to look alike but without magnets in it. He threw them both off a building 15 times at the same time and had 9 observers write down which one landed first. He thought that both rocks would land at the same time because of gravity, but the rock without the magnets in it landed first every time. This led him to develop an engine that used the force of magnets to repel the Earths magnetic field.

Ok, I don't won't to be a pest, but could you post the video? I couldn't find it.

You have to realize that this stuff is relatively tried and tested stuff, and if we are to believe that magnetism and gravity are the same, which I am because I like to be different, the rock with the magnet would be repelled up into the air.

I had considered atomic alignment, but I'm not sure I buy that yet. I'm ready and willing, but need another explanation as to why the force would be so weak.

I you go to www.youtube.com and search for Boyd Bushman and there are two videos of the interview.

The rock with the magnets in fell to the ground but just at a slower rate. The force that is needed to repel gravity requires a strong mangetic field to repel the Earths magnetic pull. Also, electricity and magnets can make simple anti-gravity devices. Boyd Bushman saw this as the start of an interesting way to develop an antigravity device. It was repeating the experiment done at the tower of Pisa by Gallileo many years ago.

Are you refering to the weak force as magnetism?

I can grasp that magnetism can be used to offset the effects of gravity, but the proposition is supposed to rid the model of gravity altogether.

I still don't get why the like charges wouldn't lift the rock up, or hold it suspended at a certain distance like in the levitation experiment. There would be no magnetic pull, in other words, because like charges are supposed repel. If there is a stronger magnetic pull from the Earth, that is opposite the charge in the rock, the rock with the magnet in it would accelerate quicker than the rock without, no?

The like charges inside the magnet rock created a magnetic field that was strong around the rock. However, just by putting two magnets in a rock and noticing that it takes less time to fall was only the beginning. They have built larger magnets that repel gravity much more effeciently than this experiment.
The idea of this is to demonstrate how magnetism and electricity relates to gravity, when all anti-gravity devices are constructed from electromagnets. It can therefore be seen as anti-electromagnetic device. More sophisticated fields of electromagnetism repel the Earths magnetic field.

Ok Scott, that makes more sense, that the strength wouldn't be great enough. So the proposition is still that there is no such thing as gravity, right? Or that the attractive effect of "gravity" is due to the opposing magnetic forces?

I'm thinking now about those large magnets at the junkyard, that pick up the cars, would they be strong enough to render a noticeable effect?

I guess I just want to know why metals of various weights aren't being thrown around all over the place by the charges, unless there is some kind of neutralizing factor involved. Yet even then, once neutralized, we would observe metals suspended weightless in mid air.

You are right. Nobody. It is very difficult to just wish away gravity as being magnetic. It has its own propoerties, and the equations of gravity and magnetism differ greatly..
