Hi Greg. The cabin was built in 1930 and is as structrualy sound today as it was then. The grizz are always around. We barbeque almost daily and have had bears come around, but making loud noises by banging or clapping deter them from joining us for dinner... "phew" I'd hate to go to bed without supper. Did you ever get the results from the DNA test a few months back? Nice to hear from you. Peace Dolly

Hi Dolly ..... I have been watching a few docos on grizzlies lately. Seems there is a period of the year when they can be very aggressive, but for the rest they seem OK. Will PM you with the DNA

Hi Greg. All animals including humans can have a bad or aggressive moment every now and then. This can even be said about mountains, oceans, the wind and sky. Don't hold it against them. If I were a bear or other wild creature I'd be more than a little P Oed about the diminishing habitat and food supply. Besides that my boyfriend has somehow endured my crazy antics for close to 19 years now. I can only conclude that he's some kind of masochist lol. Peace Dolly
