I've also seen the film. Actually, the dinosaurs start reproducing only females. Or was it all males? I can't really remember, the last time I saw the movie I was 10 years old. But I think they have managed to explain already, why some become males, haven't they? (The film is quite old).

Is the universe a female? This might be the reason why people often say 'mother nature' instead of 'father nature'

Smile Pineal gland unlocks code. - 11-06-2005, 06:57 PM

We seem to be bio-logical computers and have coded sequences locked within our genetic makeup, what are the keys to unlock these codes! Part of the answer is within the pineal gland, which secretes chemicals into our bodies, and causes a release of commands pre-programmed in. We are in a way similar to physical computers; we can more easily identify the Programmers on this with one aye. We know where to reach cyberspace-the internet; where, then is the equivalent of it in the human computer?

Kind regards, Michael.

The universe doesn't have a sex in that sense. But, it is called Mother Nature because nature is calmed, good, helpful.....and has at least of about 20 other properties which are much more common in women and nearly absent in all men. That is why it can be said to be female, only because it's similarity with females of our species. But it's not itself a female. Anyway, see how it changes, immediately changing "nature" which is female to "god" it becomes male.

Humanly speaking, female 'mother nature' have sex with male 'god' and the rest is history.

That is for western world. In Buddhism god is nature. In others, nature was created, thus "daughter", of god.

East or West - 11-08-2005, 03:26 PM

East or West is just a point of the compass. Looking in from a higher dimension everything merged into a dimensionless point without distinction of male or female, left or right, top or bottom, forward or backward.

But there are differences, or categories, between these. I would first distinguish between physical properties and mental properties. The distinguishment between sexes, dimensional directions, sizes, etc, is physical properties. Whiles mental are all of those like: politics right and left, smart or stupid. But there is wrongness about this division. First, the physical properties can be said to actually be physical properties because nature itself doesn't distinguish them, it's something that our mind does from our perceptions. And the second one is that mental properties actually are physical, because, for example, if economic growth or economic decline happens, we can see it, perceive it from the physical world: change in amount of new babies, change in infrastructures, change in all areas of which money, something that doesn't exist can change what do exist. Paradoxical but true.
