I humbly ackowledge that sweeping statements are always subject to exception. Unfortunately, exceptions are just that...a minority.

You are right Leskey, young BEAUTIFUL women have the power, the more beautiful the greater the power, and indeed they know how to exploit it to get what they desire. Men on the other hand only have power if they have some degree of wealth. The greater the wealth, the greater the power. And there you have it money and sex. Youth, Beauty and Wealth, all very desirable. Old women get the power back when they inherit all the economic resources because they outlast their husbands, then they have the ability to go after young handsome men.

With all respect, Pat, the emphasis is still on YOUNG. These days beauty can be extended: Sophia Loren is still beautiful...

What you describe is usury, not love. But, then, it depends upon what qualities one attribues to love...and truth, for that matter...of course, there's always the wisdom of hindsight.

To understand the complexity of sex, money, youth, beauty and power you have to study the psychology of communism/nazism/fascism to understand how the media, hollywood cinema and communicational channels like the Literary Movement and television become tools of propaganda in the hands of the wealthy who orchestrate, plan and manage social engineering to change the base of any society....

I read it long ago and can also recommend it to all.

Some men are 'fixers', which is OK for the future, but sympathy is needed in the interim, say, for whatever, like a medical problem.
