Should I be worried about my supposedly over the fair share of Deja Vu.
When I was much younger I would have Deja Vu often, now that I'm older I still get them but not as often. I have my own theory about the phenomenon. I don't believe there is anything to worry about. It's just one of your senses being active. Learn to go with the flow.

Is it possible what one is missing be a "sense of self" ... I mean in absolute honesty .. sense of self .. seems that man is trying to discover what we already know .. we exist as - subversion states - in the consciousness thread ... "instinctual" light beings .. made of energy and missing the point all together .. I still say awareness which can only be measured in one as knowledge .. and consciousness ..

The fundamental method of philosophy is the use of reasoning to evaluate arguments concerning these questions ..

Cool connectivity... - 05-01-2006, 11:32 AM

Thanks HTS,
I think that, flowing from the sense of self we may be missing, we are also missing a sense of connectedness. There is a wonderful quote from Mother Theresa "If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other". The sense of belonging to each other is, I think, what a lot of the tension in the world is about (ultimately).

I agree the sense of self is an important ingredient to realize the importance of being conected to everything else, like mentioned by HG. When a person realizes the sense of self, (the true inner being of ones self) true feeling of being conected to the whole becomes apparent. One begins to understand its own small but important contribution to the whole.

i understand that if you break down a tree into parts, it has roots, trunk, bark, branches, leaves or needles, and a cone, nut or seed. put it all together and you have a tree. same thing applies to senses, put them altogether, and you have a sense. the sense of a spirit. this is accomplished by understanding that if one depends on a dominate sense of sight, the lack of balance disrupts the understanding of other senses. this is the most irritating problem with science. science breaks subjects down into specifics. this is helpful for a lot of things, except for the fact of always examining the root or other specific parts, and forgetting about the tree. the same applies to senses, in fogetting that there is a sense.

Scientist Ingo Swann presented a paper to the UN in 1996 titled "Ongoing Scientific Discovery of Sensory Receptors Which Account for Many Subtle Receptors. Listed is the following:

Receptors within nasal system-pick up at bio-subliminal level-able to smell emotions for example antagonism and sexual.

Ear sensors-detect differences in pressure and electromagnetic frequencies.

Skin receptors-detect balance and inbalance of data external to body.

Motion detection via skin even in sleep

Navigational abilities via endocrine and neuropeptide system.

Horizontal, vertical and diagonal fluidic motion sensors-whole body even hair.

Skin receptors-detect temperment of others.

Subliminal sensory system-detects sound, heat, frequencies and waves.

Ability to identify positively and negatively charged particles at atomic level.

Ability to convert mechanical, chemical and electromagnetic energy into understandable nerve impulses.

Gravitational awareness sensors.

Brain senses-modulate electrical information for biological storage in analog form.

Sensors in retina-able to pick up radiation, including xrays, cosmic rays, infared radiation and ultraviolet light.

Sensors able to respond to external electrical fields.

Skin receptors-able to perceive bonding and antagonism.

Nonverbal communication receptors

Combined sensory system able to form meaning from more than 130 nonverbal gestures and 20 nonverbal messages.

Sensors-able to detect danger before directly seen or heard.

Ability to identify nonverbal emotional waves.

Anticipation and sensory cycle memory of light and dark.

Abilities to sense a coming storm.

The pineal gland as a nonvisual photoreceptor.

Ability to sense non-visual wave motions.

Ability to sense non-visual ossilating patterns.

Ability to sense magnetic fields.

Ability to sense infrared radiation.

Ability to sense electrical energy.

Ability to sense local and distant sources of heat.

Ability to sense geo-electromagnetic pulses and magnetic fields.

Ability to remote-sense viewing, hearing and tasting at a distance.

Whole-body receptors-detect pheromones such as those of a sexual nature.

Decided to post this for anyone interested

Austintorn...do you have any thoughts on why the UN would be interested in such a report from Ingo Swann...don't you think this is a pretty strange subject for the UN to be soliciting info from scientists...I do but wondered about you????
