IS THIS a dream? - 05-19-2008, 09:12 AM

I say yes it is.

I say what else can it be.

I say just as we dream by night so too is the day a dream.

Jesus said......quote:
When you make the two one,
and when you make the inner as the outer
and the outer as the inner
and the above as the below,
and when you make the male and the female
into a single one
. . . then shall you enter [the Kingdom]

NOW consider this piece of information.
From Alan Watts' "The Drama of it All"

Suppose you're God. Suppose you have all time, eternity, and all power at your disposal.
What would you say to yourself after a while, "Man, get lost."
It's like asking another question which amounts to supposing you were given the power to dream any dream you wanted to dream every night.
Naturally, you could dream any span of time---and it could be anything you wanted
because you make up your mind before you go to sleep.
"Tonight I'm going to dream of so-and-so.
" Naturally, you would start out by fulfilling all your wishes.
You would have all the pleasures you could imagine, the most marvelous meals, the most entrancing love affairs,
the most romantic journeys; you could listen to music such as no mortal has heard, and see landscapes beyond your wildest dreams.

And for several nights, oh maybe for a whole month of nights, you would go on that way, having a wonderful time.
But then, after a while, you would begin to think, "Well, I've seen quite a bit, let's spice it up, let's have a little adventure."
And you would dream of yourself being threatened by all sorts of dangers.
You would rescue princesses from dragons,
you would perhaps engage in notable battles, you would be a hero!
And then as time went on, you would dare yourself to do more and more outrageous things,
and at some point in the game you would say,
"Tonight I am going to dream in such a way that I don't know that I'm dreaming,"
and by so doing you would take the experience of the drama for complete reality.
What a shock when you woke up! You could really scare yourself!

And then on successive nights you might dare yourself to experience even more extraordinary things just for the contrast when you woke up.
You could , for example, dream yourself in situation of extreme poverty, disease, agony.
You could, as it were, live the essence of suffering to its most intense point, and then suddenly,
wake up and find it was after all nothing but a dream and everything's perfectly OK.

Well, how do you know that's not what you're doing already.
You reading, sitting there with all your problems, with all your whole complicated life situation,
it may just be the very dream you decided to get into.

If you don't like it, what fun it'll be when you wake up!

Great Huh!
So Just who is suffering?
OK it's us apparently.
But what's wrong with suffering and pain.
The chaos we don't like perhaps.
Are we a bunch of chickens?? LOL

No I say ....
It's a miracle.
When jesus walked on water.
It was an allegory of this miracle we call life.
He didn't walk on water literally.
Because the the laws of the universe do not allow us to do that.
He was trying to tell us, that we are a miracle.
Oh! the joy of lucid living.
Joy sheer Joy.

This sounds like an extraordinary statement to make, but in fact all truth is very ordinary.
It is peoples' fantasies of what is true that is so extraordinary.
That we were born and that we face eternal extinction after death is an extraordinary fantasy.

Does that sound scary?

Well what ya gonna do?

Life is but a dream, when we partially wake up we see the differences and recognise various planes of being, and see that we simultaneously exist on many levels of consciousness, now when we FULLY wake up we see nothing at all,for all just IS!

A Mystic’s “Calling” Card by Pheo Rose

Inside the mind of a mystic.

No one starts out to be a mystic.

And if they do, they never will be.

Their sense of aloneness may first begin when their innate love of God

Repels them from the most obvious place in the world for them — religion.

Rather than point out the pomposity and hypocrisy, they seek a quieter place .

If they have wisdom they will look for community;

But it is the journey not the destination that they will find.

Yet the overpowering love of God drives them on to give and find Love.

Love is relational, and the mystic finds that most humans mistake need for love.

The intensity of need is not the passion of love.

The mystic realizes greater aloneness

in the relationships meant to fulfill.

Mystics do not appear that much different than others,

Until you look into their eyes and their smiles.

They come to realize that they must remain unknown.

For Thousands of pretenders would rush, clamoring and clanking a false tone.

They know themselves and God

In an intimacy that leads them to a place

utterly and passionately alone in the Alone.

Here they find their home.

They are broken by God numerous times,

Often leaving them closer to death than life.

Yet each breaking yields immortal strength to their “furnace of love,”

And through alchemy’s purification

Healing is poured out in streams of Grace.

As door after door closes in their lives,

God fills the spaces more and more.

They converse with the trees and creatures, ah, every living thing.

Only humans seem not to recognize them, what a shame that is.

In the Aloneness, they realize God. That is all they know.

And though seriously weakened by the breaking,

They become indefatigable warriors holding evil at bay,

And luminous beacons shining Love into the world each day.

Oneness is the key to dissolve duality
and move us into the greater reality.
