I’ve thought that perhaps telepathic events maybe connected to spooky action at a distance. Perhaps even if a series of atoms or molecules in our brains are set up just the right way, due to memories or current thoughts, that perhaps they relate by commonality. Its interesting but I’m not sure about the details either.

Any how.. It matters more to me how some one has thought of something then who. For indexing or categorizing I guess it is useful to know who has brought it to every ones attention. But to truly understand some one else’s thoughts and be able to communicate with them to exchange memories or ideas is more useful. Teach a man to fish rather then giving him the fish. How to think of something rather then telling some one what is truth. “details don’t matter” bahh never believed that either.
To clarify, when I use the word "thought", I reference it as a "pure form" which we then seek to express through a representation or a medium, as you are describing above, greenbug.

Sometimes, I feel that our biological form is merely another type of receiver, similar perhaps to the analogy of a radio, and that we can attenuate our mind to receive signals from all that is. I speculate that all of the "empty space", within and without, is filled with this energy, pure thought.

This pure thought energy has always been and can neither be created or destroyed, merely tapped into and it flows through us, returning to it's source after it is done with us or we with it. (Death would be one transition phase).

I do not expect to be reincarnated or experience this exact form or personality after my biology ceases to exist. I do contemplate that the part of my being which interacts with pure thought shall continue through eternity, although that part of me which is ego shall not be aware of this.

There is nothing new under the sun, only our way of perceiving and expressing that which has always been.

    **Yes. Thoughts.

Where exactly do they come from?

I question the concept of intellectual property, in certain cases. **

Okay, two movies...Flash of Genius and Vitus

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1054588/
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfAZ0nBV1Zg

If all the parts exist then the arrangement of them becomes important...a story, composition, art piece, invention....

One of the parts in Vitus that stands out clearly to me is the teacher explaining to the class that the teacher knows more than the student... Vitus asks who invented the steam engine, the teacher gives a name and Vitus asks why the inventor's teacher didn't invent it....

There is a similar part in Flash of Genius, too.

Do you see what I see...? Like Monet

There is nothing new under the sun, not even where the sun don't shine.

Do you see what I see as vision melds impressions into 'reality'?

    Austin,
Is it a rhetorical question, too?

Where the sun don't shine...Go **** yourself? Take your unsolicited advice and shove it up your ass?

    Nothing really new anywhere.

    Monet was an impressionist painter.

Oh, Austin, are you talking about Claude Monet's Impression: Sunrise?

    **Nothing really new anywhere**

Are you under the impression that there is no deep reality?

    Re: My thoughts, your thoughts.

As far as thoughts go, I think sometimes some of us spend too much time on reacting. Remember the for every action, there is a reaction? (I shortened this up)
There is proof in the pudding of verbal warfare.
I do not mean to step on any toes (har har) toequest is all about our theory's. We all have a different way of perceiving of course. And the reaction is just about as entertaining as a saturday night movie with the family and popcorn and diet pepsi!

    Re: My thoughts, your thoughts.

How is any of this reacting without thought?

I don't see any verbal warfare.

I was thinking how impressionism (like Monet) blurs the details. He painted what he saw... we don't always see what others see.

case in point...where the sun don't shine = stick it or not...????

    just a string of thoughts...

    No offence intended.
