What about consciousness, does latent infinite potentialities lie within it?

What's on the mind via the brain's analysis shows up in consciousness, so, no, abilities not latent, that is, higher ones hiding somewhere in the brain; however, the brain will continue to progress, and, while it may not go infinite, will perhaps get really really smart in the future, although Yogi says the future ain't what it used to be.
