Same difference. Both Matter and Consciousness / Physical and Non Physical arise concurrently with one and other in the only time and place there is and that is now nowhere.
Mel, it appears to me, that, when some people use the word consciousness, they are meaning access to metaphysical mind.

Access to metpahysical mind, via human brain is the most complex conscious awareness ergo the most complex consciousness. imho

Ferminonic matter eg. neutrinos, quarks, electrons, protons is simplest existence of awareness, if not the simplest notion of consciousness.

Some believe consciouness can only be associated with nervous system( 5 senses ) ergo animals, which include humans. I understand where there coming from with that definition, so, at some point it becomes how we define awarness and when does awareness become consciousness.

The physical eternally has a metaphysical complement. That is sort of what yuo start out saying above, excetp you use the word "consciousnes" and I use the word metaphysical or mind.

Its all good, except when its bad....Rybo
Icosahedral gravity is the most spherical regular polyhedron ergo it the highest quasi-physical dimensioning(powering) serving as the intermediate buffer-zone between all that is physical all that is metaphysical.
