What came first: The Consciousness or the Matter?

    Does anyone know the answer?

My logical answer would be: I know nothing of matter. Consciousness is all I know, and the appearances that are one with it.

    Hi wifey,

Consciousness is a tail-end process of brain matter.

Introspection only knows consciousness, but science informs us what's all the more.

    Hello Hub's.

Consciousness is a tail-end process of brain matter.

So, is animation a tail-end process of inanimate matter?

Yes, but not the immediate end, as it, like consciousness goes on for a while.

    It's all a glorious orgasm.

You mean life comes from death? if brains are inanimate?

    It's all a glorious orgasm.

    Double O.

    O, O!

    INANIMATED TO ANIMATED

    Perhaps the knowledge of movement
    Makes for animated life,
    But, when did this happen?

How does one draw a clear line
    Between organization and not?

When, even, does the night turn to day?

The most interesting and potent things,
From the evolution of the universe to life,
    Exist at the blurred boundary
    Between order and chaos…

Life perhaps emerging in tide pools—
The shifting edge between land and sea.
    .
It is all of the fuzzy realm
    In which and where things
Have to be orderly enough to take form,
But not so much frozen that they cannot change.

    Nice poem Hub's

Multiple lives out of death... consciousness (life) out of matter (death) that returns to death.

    The eternal return.

So something did come from nothing, or did nothing come from something.

Or is it all just something and nothing.

Re: What came first: The Consciousness or the Matter?

The quantum jitterbugs arose, as they ever do, since nonexistence can't't be, the fluctuations creating particles and antiparticles that eventually cancel back to zilch; so, in a way, all is somewhat duringly existing now is an expression of nothing, or at least of Nothing's impossibility.

You could still say that all is for and of naught, as it is involved in the sense that it is perfectly unstable.

And so are the simple things emitted not so stable, for simple things never are, and so they go through phase changes and recombinations, and so forth, onto and unto the more complex.

Austin, as consciousness is the tail-end process of brain matter, then is it Consciousness (Life) constructing the appearance of matter ?
or is matter constructing the appearance of consciousness?

It has to be happening simultaneously as one whole entity, i would have thought ?

The ?entity? holding two opposing thoughts at the same time yet able to function in a coordinate fashion. ?

When you resume thinking, it will be fresh and creative." - Eckhart Tolle, Practicing the Power of Now
