I am quite sure you are familiar with 'working meditation'.

The body can attend to earning a living with minimum supervision in circumstances where one works alone with inanimate objects in a safe environment, doing peripheral checks as required or when an intrusion is imminent.

There is also the personal matter of grieving, which you may not adhere to.

When there are loved one's very close to the end of their journey, even when they live far away, one's thoughts and energy flow to them, that you are there in spirit, while attending to the physical matters at this end of the illusion that does experience sensation.

Persons who have survived very difficult challenges in their life have explained to me, 'You just keep doing whatever needs doing, or whatever you can. If it is meant to be, you just get through it.' My challenges are merely those related to the human condition, unlike the atrocities that some of my elders have known and of which they will speak but little and to few.

And when you have accepted certain legal responsibilities for others, you tend to keep a small part of your mind in readiness, for the call, whenever it may come. One does not dwell, for the call may come soon or late, and never likely when one is most organized. One just accepts that when it comes, as it surely shall, that one will tack like a sailboat before a headwind, and alter course to accommodate, returning to the general direction of life prior, as and when possible.

These are some of the forms of disassociation of the physical and the mind that I refer to.
So many paths to the same destination,
would, but I could, experience them all...

    Thanks LW.

Yes, you just keep on going, doing whatever needs doing, awareness being your constant guide.
    Doing is done-no doer thereof.

    We must turn to stillness.
We imagine that if our mind were to let go of it's control on our life there would be chaos and suffering but in fact it's our attempts to swim against the flow of life,
our resistance to what Is, that causes our stress and weariness.
Suffering in all it's forms is simply a result of our resistance to change.
But it's the nature of all form to change.
We could say that life is a process of dis-illusion-ment,
bringing us out of the illusion of our identity as a separate 'form' into the awareness of our form-less Presence - our true nature.

Endings help us see that endings are not real.
Just as the sun never really sets it still appears that way from where we are stood....
but what a beautiful illusion it is, and what a beautiful way to awaken from the illusion that our life ends when the body disappears.
The more we accept the endings in life the more these endings take us beyond the world of form
into the spacious awareness of Presence, our Self.

    A spark at conception.

    Enlightened from birth.

A luminous body of varying intensity throughout the journey we term 'life'.

Quenched at death, returning to the original source of the preliminary spark.

    Hi LW

In reality there is no real birth and death, only the appearance of birth and death.
No thing has ever been born, neither has it died.
All is the play of Consciousness- An amazing Sound & Light Show for Noone.

The light of truth is, that energy is neither created nor destroyed, it just changes endlessly from one form to another.
The mind, which is the known, turn this energy into number, concept, form, pattern, information, meaning, etc,
all of which flickers in and out of existence, on and off the screen of awareness.(LIGHT)

The mind then imagines this sound and light show to be real and solid, which it is, and at the same time, is not...(virtual reality)

YOU are light, and there is only light.
As a metaphor: Imagine the flame of a candle as it cast it's shadow against a wall,
the shadow appears as an animated image, an imprint, exact replica of the flame,
and although the shadow appears separated from the one projecting it, the separation is only illusion.
It is One appearing as two, because the shadow is also the flame/light.

Objective reality, that, which is of the 'Seen'
Something is seeing this object and that object, but the one seeing itself cannot be seen,
because it is the very act of seeing, and there is only seeing...(Illumination)
So, God/Light, in this metaphor, is the only thing that is not truly ''Looked At''
And God/Light is not a thing, but is the means of things.

As Plotinus tells us, don’t look ''by'' light, look ''with'' light.

Y-our apparent existence is being an emanation of the One, and as distinctly separate things,
this separation is an expression of non-Being.
Thus, insofar as there is One thing, only one thing has being.
Separations from the One are simply compositions of Being and Non-Being, a kind of relative.
'YOU' are Non-being, being - two, but not two, and the mind struggles with the non-being part...because it doesn't know it

the ocean must be separated from the sky.

    An insolvable problem occurs when
the conceptual mind tries to see unicity within
    its own painting.
Emotions and feelings arise and fall.

You are the aware space in which this happens

The mind must be separated from the eye.
