Communist thought and communist action and democratic thought and democratic action exist in differing blends around the world.
This thread hasn't taken a stance on either one and that's good because we haven't yet determined the merits of either one,
in some democratic actions we see war and revolution, and in some communist actions we see peace and control; however in communist thought we see poverty and hardship and in democratic thought we see prosperity and comfort, it's clear we can't continue to make war and remain prosperous and comfortable, there just isn't any more la places to put our toxic waste after the war ends, and in communist action it's clear they cannot maintain peace and control when prosperity and comfort are the real goals.
Both systems are like pendulums on a swing but are not connected to one another, they are side by side and they can't mimic each other because they only have of their own pendulum.
In our discussion we tend to talk about science, so forgive this post for sounding political, both systems are useful in our quest for knowleedg knowledge and so we need to maintain both systems of thought as useful tools , however we may find out both fail in action and only w exist in thought.
A lot of science is about making ideas and not judging ideas, so again I apologize if anybody reading this has identified me as being political.
I would like to regard both communist and democratic thought as important to forming a more perfect system, whether or not communist action or democratic action will succeed is not for a scientist to decide and falls under the category of darwinism which is controversial.
The control and peace offered by communist thought is different than the hardship and poverty of putting it into action; and likewise the prosperity and comfort provided by democratic action is countered by the war and revolution needed to put democratic thought into t more than just thought.
These two things seem to cancel each other out and so a study of any system would have to include other forms of "systems of morality",
other systems could include any number of additional or alternate methods which woud would put the two systems of communism and democracy that cancel each other out and leave other systems of morality to define themselves in either for or against, those other forms of morality.
I am much iin interested in learning about other forms of morality because it seems that democracy and communism are defined by them more so than democracy and communism define themselves.
