The empty Non-dual message is not getting through, people dismiss what they don't know in favor of what they do know.

Who can blame them for that.

They are only concerned about facts not fiction.

Maybe we have progressed beyond the need for empty Non-dual philosophy and are at a point where philosophy needs to be gutted in favor of practical knowledge.

The yoga people taught us much, but we have learned their lessons and are now ready to embark on the quest for real knowledge.

Melanie,it would be great being none dual in fact we our in our essence,but we are not in our essence as we live in this three dimensional existence at least not on the surface anyway,so what can we do about it? You are right that we have learned a lot from say Yoga,and the illumined Yogis who have taught us down through the ages,but maybe we now need to embrace a different aspect of our existence,and come to a different understanding of what is real. Prehaps the modern idea of living in the now points the way ahead,it is certainly a very real basis to embark on ones inner journey.

The NOW - It's the only reality we live in its the only reality we know.
We can't know anything beyond the now.I don't believe in all that heaven, hell, afterlife or reincarnation stuff.
All there is is this now, that's all i know.

My horse also concurs that what we experience is only the 'now', yet suggests that such may be because we are of a biology that has limited comprehension of what framework enables this experiencing of now.

Yes, cats are the ultimate 'authority', I agree.

I am well aware that while my take on reality works for me, it is but one of many 'coping strategies' among millions 'out there', lol.....

That's what makes the whole experience so intriguing......at least to me.....and I greatly enjoy sampling other people's take on life also. It's an endless buffet of ideas.....not enough time to fit everything in......but I'm going to die trying, lol....

If horses had gods they would look like horses.

No creature can finally conceptualize beyond its own limits or its own being.
A horse cannot think or imagine beyond the experience of a horse.

I am much more interested in a non-dual message than a dual one.

Dual messages may be a sign that you are bi-polar?¿¿?

Non-dual messages are more likely to be straight to the point.

Dual messages are likely directing you to two points, and therefore two directions.

This might lead for a difficult life.

Who says 'non-dual' philosophy is empty? I believe I may be missing a large part of the reason for this thread.
