There is no such thing as paranormal phenomena. Those who believe have experienced something should focus on getting this prize http://www.randi.org/research/ rather than confusing others with red herrings.

The prize is 1 million dollars for whoever can prove, under supervision, a single paranormal manifestation such as ghosts, future telling, telepathy, telekinesy and so on. The fact that nobody has ever passed even the preliminary tests should tell you exactly how much of this paranormal stuff is actually true.

Thank you, but you are wrong. Do not be so realistic when not being able to realize what Ghost is and so on! Be a human, not a computer who or which can not be able to communicate in a sensitive way.

Last time I was convinced that I'm able to communicate telepathically I was seriously ill, and it took me half a year to get over it. Of course, you CAN experience paranormal phenomenas, but, BUT, be sure, they are only in your head. If you are interested what everything one could experience as real, ask a psychiatrist. I mean it seriously, it's surprising what everything can be "experienced".

The way I see should not resemble the path you have passed ...This is the meaning of a realistic life, a novel living. Being intellectual even in some arenas of science or metaphysics might be a little bit tough, but as some people have said in the history of the civilised human, everything might probably possibly ...correct. There is stupid silly idea about the ancient Egypt where you can find the great pyramids from 5000 years ago. They had been built exactly in the center of the geographical map of our Earth! or many other things about the UFO's who had come up to Farrahos and Egyptians...etc. Why I said this is that because UFO's are as much superstition as gosts, souls, God, mind, chinese Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Chaos in Quantum Theory, etc are! So You should not have an aggresive opinion on me or on the scientific researches. You do so, you may not be a person wanting to discover the theory of everything. To broaden our mind we have to believe, after believing we have to find out why we believe and before believing we must ask ourselves:> why do we really need to believe? If there is only one thing unbelievable it's (Keeping your thoughts in an isolated science where no foreign ideas about this universe can enter.

Ghosts are just some simple symbols and features of not understanding the intelligent universe. According to a Japanese scientist, water of a river, a glass, a pipe, and even the holy water in church can feel the music. If you are playing metal music the shape and construction of Molecules will absolutely change. How can you explain that by religion, superstition, science, your personal opinion.?. you might say by waves and their frequences on the molecules of water. If it's true, go to see why in church these molucules have the most beautiful shape compared to other places where they were getting the waves. You may know, the music played in church is not as bright and nice as that of Mozart or Beethoven, Koch,.... In your body you have water<2 out of 3>and your mind also. By listening to metal music you won't be able to be as smart as a man who was listening to romantic calm music.

I just meant, this is why for 200 or 300 or 400 years after Newton we became able to find something more than the classical physics. only because nearly all scientists were thinking that they are the best and nothing will be discoverd by others. like today. like tomorrow.

Take it easy and do not call me stupid man. Do not be angry with people giving some obvious signs of an isolated society in which people will slowly go to think that God does not exit, This is the end for humanity, or so on. These are, in my point of view, just rubbish. God of people is rubbush when people want to see him/her!!!!! To feel him.her.to prove.

We must have the courage to search for the truth regarding reality, wherever that may lead us. The path may not lead where we expect. I believe there is an objective truth to reality, but we humans may not have the brain structures needed to comprehend this objective reality. Knowing that we may never know the answer, I still think we should push forward and try to understand, while realizing our shortcomings.

We want to be right. We all have certain beliefs about reality and we want to be correct. We want so badly to be right that we have psychological defense mechanisms that protect us. We rationalize our behavior, we tune out any conflicting evidence to our strongly held beliefs, we interpret events in a way that justifies and strengthens our beliefs, we become upset with people who disagree with us, etc. Our goal many times is to convince ourselves that we are right; we try to adjust reality to fit our beliefs. Rather, I think we should have the courage to adjust our beliefs to fit the objective reality.

There is a book that I think should be required reading for all TOE seekers. It is titled, "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions" by Thomas S. Kuhn. It discusses how, throughout history, anomalies are discredited and pushed aside when they don't fit in with established views of reality. Scientists who research these anomalies are often discredited and shunned by the scientific community. Yet these anomalies are the seeds to subsequent scientific revolutions. This pattern has significantly delayed many scientific revolutions in the past.

My question is, could some aspects of reality today, considered anomalies, be the seeds to the next scientific revolution? I don't think it is wise to disregard all such paranormal phenomena as unworthy of further study. We may want to consider how we might explain these phenomena; how to unify them with the physical laws of the universe. Is there a deeper theory that might explain some of the paranormal phenomena that has been reported? This certainly complicates the Theory of Everything.

On the other hand, realize that when you believe strongly in certain paranormal phenomena, you may be ignoring evidence that should make you question and perhaps modify your beliefs. Some phenomena (after-life, spiritual guides, reincarnation, premonitions, karma, etc) makes us feel good and brings a certain kind of organization and understanding to the universe. We strongly want some of these things to be true, but believing it to be true does not make it true. We must look at the evidence and consider the scientific merits of the source of our beliefs.

The best approach is probably to keep an open mind, always be willing to adjust our beliefs when confronted with conflicting evidence, seek out and explore the anomalies, avoid giant leaps of faith in our reasoning. Also, lets push our ego aside. It's ok to be wrong, but lets not stay wrong. Avoid holding on to unsubstantiated beliefs just to feed our ego.

Very interesting thread. I'd love to hear more thoughts on this.

Now what is your feeling my enemy?What do you think and how do you think at this moment?This is a historic moment when Human goes to see the truth of creation.100 years after Albert Einstein,All scientists in the fields of Physics,Mathematics,Chemistry,etc totaly confirm that the speed of discovers and understandings of this universe<either in Phylosophy or Mathematics>has dramatically dropped since 1960's .At that time,We established the first nuclears,we decided to send a man on the moon and alot of decisions which were made in the century.But intelectually why did human do that ?because he really needed it?.At one point ,The cold war,the second world war,and the first one ,did change many things around us.That is according to Revoloutionary Theory why in a wild environment everything changes...In order to survive....As you may know,in every competition ,we can find somethings new and novel as we could in the last century.Thus do we realy need to make another war to change our science?to creat some best weapons of mass destruction.Some people say ,yes we do .some may not!.However ,in this undefined century,we will be having alot of unpredicted ideas.I never want you the reader of the TOEQUEST website to believe and trust and obey every thing.This lovely discussion forum is based on one obvious attitude. which is always called as ( Freedom of Information and Libration of Notions).On this website,nobody should be kidding only for fun and for enjoying himself/herself.None of us must accept one opinion and reject another one.Everything must be considered.If not,how can you call yourselves <The seekers of the great theory of the universe>?.


Second thing:I do think that there isn't still a complete theory to describe every thing.We just want to unify our known science,our recongnised physics...What if thrghout this great research we face some new problems,some new science...which in the past might be called "superstitions"?.Let's be honest with each other.we know that none of us will discover that sort of theory,neither in the next 5 years,nor in the next 50 years.It will have to be an international project on which not only will NASA be working but also people who are just people.You know what I mean.


Lastly,again let's distinguish why we need this theory.Will it forever be only a theory or will it be changing to a Human Discovery to give us an opportunity
to see beyond the current frontiers of our simpe creation.Will it be some sort of attempting to find God and his/her mind?.Will it be needed by religious leaders?.Will it be helpping us to concat other unknown civilisations?.Will it be used after its discovery against humanity?.Will it be within our regular understanding of Quantum ,Einstein's theories,European phlosophers,communism,etc?.Will there be any kind of hope to do this tough business ,namely,to discover a new way of living in this universe?.
Will we simple ordinary mates be able to create the most complicated philosophy of history or we'll make everything easy to understand?.

Many questions must be answered by you my best friends aournd the glob.From Japan ,China,Malaysia....From Indian,Pakistan,Iran,Lobanon,Israel.....From Africa and Europe...and finally from the U.S.A. and South America.We have to invite all people in this community .But you might know better than anybody else if we do not have the support of our government ,again like what happend in the last century,one or two powerfull countries will support it.and perhaps there will be a greater disaster for this world..../

You must think ,I must think of a theory to give human the greatest ideas about politics,economics,physics,chemisty,phylosophy,spi rtuality,mathematics,languages,etc.Whichever of them must be solved by this theory.A theory which will be changed to an action ,to a feedback of our unrecognised day-to-day life.
Will other civilisations<if there is any of them>have some societies as we have now.?Will they use currency in their business?.Will they be born and die?.Will they have established a democratic governmental system before even the establishment of the first local communities in 15000 years ago on the Earth.Will they live on another planet or...like silly gosts amongst us,at our homes....Will..... willing towards creation......

Human is something very VERY complicated thing evoluted (created) by many different particles, atoms, moleculs, cells and complex structure of relations between them. That's how we have "shape", how we can exist... It took evolution many years to "create" us.
As for TOE: it's not generally defined. If I claimed I had a TOE I could be write - and everything I would need to it could be just God. Or energy. Or spacetime. Or... Anything. This could - and would - be a real TOE. But would it be useful? Probably not much. This is one extreme. The second extreme is in connection between all areas of human search. It's impossible to connect all areas on one base - every area operates on its own level, uses its own terms and when you try to connect with another area, you make things just more complicated - you would be inventing new terms (an example could be influence mathematic on physics and conversaly). Such TOE is impossible, beyond our ability, though it would be VERY useful - but only if we would understand it, which would be very tough task because you would have to understand very many connections between things - I'll call them terms - very huge context. This is the precious knowledge: context. But unfortunately we can extend it without any limits...

I shall make some comments on your post. well this is a forum for TOEquest- only a quest-whether you will get all the answers or not depends on - how open you are about new possibilities and acceptance of new understanding of the the cosmic manifesttation. "who and why we are here" is the the proper seed for TOEquest. the philosophical answer to your question is- we are part and parcel of a prime being (GOD) . I am not going to define GOD- at this point. We are here because we got seperated from our prime source for various reasons and lost all communication. this is just a philosophical answer and i am sure readers are getting doubts in their minds at this point. so let me interject a real life example in this discussion from Hindu scriptures- story goes like this - It is late at night, you walked into a room with a very faint lighting- you saw a snake in that room in one corner . you rushed out in horror. along comes a friend asks you what was the cause of your fear and you tell the whole story. your friend and you walk back to the room , he /she turns the light on- there is no snake in the room. It was a rope.
so what happened to the real snake ? ( you saw it, you could have touched it too) well the moral of the story is when you have true knowledge ( all answers to your quests) you would say- what a grand illusion that this universe was. Hindu sciptures say this whole universe is an illusion.
Illusion and reality would mingle the way a snake dissappeared in the rope
by the way the story is titled "snake in a rope "

Hi Yogi;

If there's one thing I really don't need, it's encouragement. My curious nature has driven me to unbelievable lengths for the past 60 years. Thinking outside the box has never been a problem for me.

I have considered the things you refer to many times during my life. I have reached a point in my life where only a failure of memory would allow me to return to a point where faith or myth could satisfy my curiousity.

Although I have found the answers I searched for, I would never try to convience anyone else to accept my findings. Mainly because in some cases the old saying "ignorance is bliss" may apply.

Stay curious.................If you can handle truth.
