The energy of a single soul (spirit) is about .0267139 eV (electron volt). The total Planck energy of the universe is $10^{19}$ GeV (billion electron volts). By simple division, the universe accomodates $3.74336956 \\\\\\\\times 10^{29}$ souls or in binary notation rounding to the next hundred whole number is $2^{100}$ souls.

In order for God to keep track of all these souls, He only needs at the least a 2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000-bit computer. Equivalently, each soul weighs $4.7630884 \\times 10^{-38}$ kilogram or $1.0500812 \\times 10^{-37}$ pound. The mass of an electron is $9.10938188 \times 10^{-31}$ kilogram. Hence a soul is 7 factors of ten lighter than an electron but as long as it has a mass, it can feel the gravitational force.

It is the Planck energy when the universe was about the size of Planck length. It has cooled off since then. The current temperature is about 3 kelvin.

Since souls have mass, they cannot escape the gravitational field of the universe or they cannot move as freely as the massless photons.

I don't know what your definition of a soul is, as for me a soul just doesn't exist.
It wouldn't make sense to discuss this any further.

souls have temperatures as a consequence, they have mass, just a tiny, tiny mass like the neutrinos although scientists are still debating whether neutrinos really have mass. On the other hand, there are missing neutrinos and unaccounted missing mass for balancing physical equations, otherwise the universe will expand forever. Some kind of mass is desperately needed to hold back the expansion only if you believe the big bang theory of the universe.
