I am willing to go only so far with this god idea. We live in male dominated society...so we make both god and the devil into male figures. We give god all the power and yet he supposedly wipes out millions in a single tsunami...

We created the idea of both god and devil and also the idea that a fully knowledgeable god created the universe. These are just ideas and theories.

I believe the universe should be included in a theory of everything, but God is not necessary in a theory of everything. This is about science, not religion. Is the word universe even in scripture? I think I remember something about a world without end. Perhaps that was the description of an expanding universe for the day.

Volantis your post "if God created the universe" raises interesting questions. I remember when I was a young man my quest has been, what is the relationship between God and the universe. The Christian religion in which I was taught had very few answers( at least the leaders I spoke to). So I semistudied Islamic and Judaism and I found them to be similar to Christian, no real answers. So I looked to the east to the Sanskrit writings Hinduism, Buddhism, the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita. Religion as a whole began to make some sense. I began to accept it as mythological rather than littereral. I also applied Buddhist teachings to the teachings of Christ and they were almost the same. Like you I turn to science and things began to make more sense along with the readings on philosophy, psychology, quantum physics and the string theory. Writings by Joeph Campbell, Alan Watts and others help me to realize a Conscious Power ( your Gforce). In the Lords Prayer Christ said "thine is the kingdom and the Power".I believe This Conscious Power satuates everything that exist. "I in the Father and the Father in me" John 14:10. Even Christ tried to tell the people, they didn't understand him then nor now. I believe this Conscious Power's vibration is the cause of everything and keeps everything moving. I believe within The Power time is irrelevant therefore there's no beginning no end (string theory) and the vibration is the result of the Power, therefore it always was and always will be. I feel that Galaxies,suns and worlds, will continue to be created and destroyed for ever that's just the spiral of life.

Where I went to high school we had a class called Man in Society, which was a non-secular quasi theological sociology slash religious history kind of course. Our instructor was a celibate of a brotherhood who impressed us with the notion that God is the uncaused cause, and we were asked to take it from there. It was really just a clever device to turn the turbulent post adolescent mind away from agnosticism and doubt, though. I figured that much out.

But I am a stickler for logical analysis and something about that concept doesn't jive with me. It is somehow impractical.

I think that it is perfectly permissible to rationalize the existence of God, regardless of one's belief structure, without turning oneself away from the concept of religion altogether. I just believe that one must remain practical, that even quantum realities will someday be appreciated on a practical level. There is just so much impracticality in the all-knowing, all-seeing, infinitely present, omnipotent creator of all things theology that any discussion of it outside of the realm of practical science becomes non-science, and non-science just isn't real.

How the God has made it? The quantum physics approves, that in the beginning God has created " virtual particles ".

Astrophysics approves, that in the beginning God has created " latent mass ", "invisible particles ".From them the God has created all. If God created the Universe, then God should show in the physics. That has always been my contention. It's a matter of logic. I mean, how could God create something without leaving fingerprints or something?

What if God established the physics such that there was no intention of interferring with them? Pristine, benevolent, always there to say, I am here for you, not against you. That is a God.

I believe the universe has always been in creation. It's in creation now,and will remain in creation.(GENESIS BEGINS) There was no beginning and no end to creation.(GOD CREATES ALL) Now I agree mathamatics can be used in the creation by your God as far as physics and star formation. But religion, philosophy and psychology, are all human opinions.
