    Do you think there could be a way of becoming more aware of our sub-conscious mind and therefore be able to tell when things like this are going to happen?

    The subconscious connection

    Trombonetom;
    There is a way to become consciously aware of the subconscious though it is not a real good idea to do so. It's called self-hypnosis; I did it accidentally when I was young and dumb. The other more safe way is to use what is called Psycho-Cybernetics that requires you to provoke a strong emotional desire to the subconscious for it to sort and relay information of a specific nature. There are several book on the subject.

    Maybe. The science of psicology is all about our sub-consciousness. They are discovering year after year new things about it. I believe if we manage to give it some maths, we would be able to predict many things.
