Sadly agreed that not everyone enjoys freedom and equality in all aspects of their life.

Please elaborate why you state subjectivity presupposes freedom and equality?

Words and language provide a reference by consensus that works adequately for most objects. The nuances of colour, ideas, personal experience and emotions are more difficult to convey.

We enjoy freedom and equality perhaps, from the respect that what goes on inside our mind, is our own unique perspective. Be it limited or broad, of short or long duration, this experience is uniquely ours, and no other may know exactly the same.

    Re: Earth?

If one does not have the choice to act in a self-regulating or self-defining manner, then subjectivity is no longer an option. However, there is still the theoretical 'absolute' will or potential for choice, but such latter qualities is undermined by the former.

    Re: Earth?

So then, subjectively, relatively, theoretical absolutely, objectively, quantum astro nano physically, the Sun rises in the easterly, or even religiously (perhaps God Knows), which Way does the Earth truly spin, clockwise or counter-clockwise?
And if the answer cannot be clockwise or counter-clockwise as I ask, as no one has answered in the singular fashion, then is it not true that the Earth spins in a single direction?
    Do tell!

PS: I'm thinking the Earth's rotation is singularly directionally true as absolute; but as for time or measure of this truth, clockwise or not, far far from true. And perhaps if I may be so bold to say: utterly irrelevant.

As seen from the North Pole, our planet spins in a counterclockwise direction (and also travels around the sun in an counterclockwise orbit).

Or so we learned in science class. Call NASA for their perspective.

    Re: Earth?

Therefore, as viewed from the South Pole it would be in a clockwise direction. As viewed on the Equator....

Also the direction of Earth's rotation around the sun depends on your perspective.

    Hi Professor,

So from where your standing on this planet, which way are you turning, clockwise or counter-clockwise?

    Hi MJA;

    Good question.

I guess since Michigan is north of the equator, it would be counterclockwise.
