Hey Silly Sally, we have met before but I have a different name now. I think you have a fascinating mind and I marvel at the way you see the hidden connections between things. I have a lot to say about the subject of soul mates, interbreeding, and who Einstein's soulmate really was. I hope you enjoy what I have to say and do not find it in any way offensive.

MJA you are not Einstein's soul mate despite what you wish. You and Einstein are probably cosmic twins, like you and I, but to be Einstein's soul mate you would have to be a girl. Soul mates are always of opposite sex.

Furthermore, soul-mates are always related just like Mikal said. Einstein's soulmate was really his wife, who was really his cousin, Elsa Einstein. More specifically, she was his double cousin. For on his Mom's side she was his cross cousin and on his Dad's side she was his second cousin.

It may sound strange, even abhorrent, that Einstein should have married his cross cousin, but that is because we do not know the important distinction between "cousins" and "cross cousins." Biologically it plays a different role, and one results in retardation whereas the other is an enhancement to evolution.

Let me explain the definition of a cross cousin. If you are a male then your cross cousin is your mother's brother's daughter. If you are a female then your cross cousin is your father's sister's son. Do you see?

Cross cousin marriage does not result in retardation, in fact, the evidence seems to point to the fact that the greatest of soul-mates are cross cousins, and it is perhaps through cross cousin marriage that the recursiveness in the human genome is triggered. Mikal was talking about this recursiveness. This recursive triggering in evolution may be spurred on to new heights through cross cousin marriage, accelerating human evolution. But it may be that only certain people should marry their cross cousins, for these are the ones who are destined to change humanity. Countless cultures have known this through the ages and that is why the words for "mate" and "cross cousin" are synonymous in these cultures.

It may be especially important for someone like me to be romantically engaged with my cross-cousin, in order to enhance the so-called xxyy gene which is expressing itself through our family and through me. XXYY maybe the gene that characterizes the so-called holy blood line, and may be the result of cross cousin marriage through time.

One of the members of the holy blood line from which I may be descendent was the man Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ was the product of a cross cousin marriage. Jesus Christ was the offspring of a cross cousin marriage between Mary and Joseph who were cross cousins.

Other famous people who married their cross cousins and bore perfectly normal children include not just great scientists like Albert Einstein, but also Charles Darwin married his cross cousin and their son was not retarded but a prodigal genious. Great poets like Edgar Allen Poe and the prophet Muhammad also married their cross cousins. This shows you how stupid our conception is about cross cousin marriage. And I bet you if Nikola Tesla wasn't celebate, he would have married his cross cousin too!

So you can see why it is that I believe, in the most quintessential of instances, your soul-mate is actually your cross cousin. Do you see?

Thanks Mikal and XXYY, those were both interesting responses and I do agree that it has more to do with the entire family than a couple alone. It doesn't necessarily mean that we feel that lovey dovey crap either, my grandmother hated my grandfather and I don't like my husband 50% of the time. It's actually a lot harder to be with soul mate, in fact a lot of people probably leave their soul mate never even thinking that they were the one they are supposed to be with. Most people choose the easy way out I suppose.

But cousins? lol! Yuck, I am not interested in my cousins. I'll take my husband as a brother next life. How distance can a family get in 200 years? I am just curious how far related my husband and I will be by then.

I get it now xxyy, sorry it took a couple minutes. The cousin thing is ok coz the brother and sister chromosomes are different. And what I think is even weirded is that there are 3 girls between two of the same brothers and 3 boys from the brothers sister. Isn't that nasty? But my cousins are already married and one isn't but he only likes girls with really really dark skin.

Hi Silly Sally...xxyy kind of got my friends soulmate idea mixed in with his. When my friend refers to "soul families" he was talking about a group of souls incarnating together with a collective soul objective. He saw soul families as scattered with soul agreements to work on the same life/social/world issues. So similar themes appear in the course of their lives. If life brings them together its the experience of being receptive to impressions from each other. For example I am a researcher and it is in that theme in my life that life has taken me to find some of my soul family who are also researchers. Some soul groups are collective healers, some educators, some with strong themes working in politics with the problems of civilization. I am not discounting xxyy's idea about soulmates as there are many ideas...just noting that my friends view is different..

Can all teachers be soulmates? I never believed in that sort of stuff until I see facts behind how it may happen. I have never heard an explanation of how it actually can work until I saw it before my eyes. I am not a researcher, just an xhooker now stay at home wife and mother. Maybe I have too much time on my hands to think but it's not like I put much thought into it, the numbers/dates just happen to match births and conceptions with the same family.

I am not saying your friend is wrong just a little generic without anything tangible behind it. A lot of us have the same ideas and hopes and dreams, we even try to achieve them but that doesn't make a soulmate reality alone.

What are your views Mikal? As a researcher you should know how to find facts.

Silly Sally...as a researcher I have found some of my soul family and they are the ones in my generational group...a generational group develops over a seven year period so everybody born in that time span can be some of your soul family. Those I have met have similar life themes which took them to the pursuit of research which is basically a search for the truth...I know when I meet them becomes there is an attraction there not common to all relationships...my generational group is strongly marked by a sense of exclusivity from the society we are in...so less able to be conditioned by society defines us in a peculiar way...

Well my grandfather was concieved on my grandmothers birthday and my husband was concieved on mine and that's enough for me to notice something fishy. But it could also be that the woman in my family share some biological thing where we concieve on the same days since my oldest daughter was concieved on grandmas birthday and born on grandpas then the middle daughter was concieved on grandmas death day and now my soon to be son is going to be born on grandpas death day. Just too circular for anything natural so I will call it supernatural.

I really think the concept of soul mates cannot be condensed into just one idea...I mean how many souls have incarnated....millions...so maybe the truth of soulmates is many threads of truth and you found one and I found another...smiles

I draw the line at millions being a possibility. I think there are more lost souls than found. I think we come back through dna combinations and many people mix out of their tribes, it will take longer for them to reoccur. That's why there are so many people, new combinations/mutations not the other way around. I come from a population of people whos mortality rate is higher than the birth rate so my tribe has a higher/sooner chance since we didn't over populate. We have less mutation and combinations in our favor. However, I would rather just die and not come back to this crappy planet anyday.
