    The Void

In my humble personal opinion, Perfect Void is a huge Nothingness, e.g. before the big bang.

And this may induce a lot of controversaies. If there isn't any Nothingness inside a universe originated from a big bang, then Perfect Void is perhaps the Perfect Vacuum even though quantum fluctuations do happen.

I think Void is just another name of vacuum. Some people don't like to use the term vacuum because vacuum is an erroraneous concept when compared to ether/field concept.

    The Void

Void is a word that is synonymous with vacuum and space by current definitions. Over the past hundred years the terms vacuum and space have been distorted to infer physical properties and thus we need a word that can still render the original meaning of these words. I chose to remove the word “void” as being synonymous with space and vacuum to allow it to mean the emptiness (not nothingness) place that can be occupied by the physical substance of the universe. This emptiness is the only reality that can be truly infinite and non-physical. It is the place that everything that exists will occupy.

    Dave,

Would it be fair to infer that the infinite space, emptiness, occupies every quarter of the universe, inclusive of any and all physical substances?

Also, do you suggest that the exterior space of the universe completely lacks volumetric pressure?

Only if we accept the meaning of “universe” in its original definition; then our position (galaxies and all) in the universe is but a grain of sand of existence in a VOID.

    Re: The Void

Just a few more questions to get the right picture.

Is the cmb radiation egg an accurate depiction of the universe? Is the exterior space around the egg completely static? And is matter an entirely separate existence from space, or is what is commonly known as matter a condensed form of space?

    Re: The Void

    Hi everyone;

I know it's not vogue to talk about universal boundries, but doesn't the universe expand into the void thus changing it to space.

In other words, for the universe to expand it needs a place to expand into.

I view the void to be outside our universe, which is constantly absorbing our universe.
    Just a thought.

    Best to all,

    Pat

Playing "god", ain't ya David...? I wonder how you'd know such a thing? A-priori logic disagrees with you...

    emptiness (not nothingness)

What is it empty of then?

People look after the things they have affection for. It is thus essential that we learn to have affection for the planet that sustains us.

"The sense of threat from every quarter of what is known as the Establishment – which is to say, of modern civilization – is not altogether a put-on or an act for many of these young folk, but an actual condition of soul. The break-off is real, and what is being bombed and blown up outside are actual symbols of interior fears." - Joseph Campbell

    Re: The Void

Hello? A void would have had something in it, then it was deleted. Erased, vanished, not needed anymore, done, finished. Did it have a purpose, of course, otherwise it wouldn't be there, the void. Or it can just be compressed and it would look like a void but it's really full or complete. You choose which one you like, but I think they both mean the same thing.

We are all within the void, listen to its absolute stillness! We are deceived by the illusion
