One of the greatest mysteries on this website is how there manages to consistently be 50 permanent guests lurking on the board. It is so constant that it is beginning to look like a natural law of nature. Do any of them ever join and is there a time of day or night when this figure drops or rises?

Only about 15-20 people post consistently; some may be in the stage of just taking in, as perhaps we once were.

I do notice, though, a recent increase in new members posting; hope they stay.

Lots of bots scooping up info, too, and I suppose that they all have obvious names, but am not sure.

Bots are robot-like programs that search the internet for new stuff that can then be 'found' right away by search tools like Google.
