Lightbulb On Phenomenon by Mike Infinity

Wherever there are opposites, the harmony thereof will result in phenomenon. My understanding of Phenomenon is this: It expresses itself fully in itself. Or it is best described when one comes in contact with, witnesses, or experiences phenomenon. To best understand gyroscopic inertia and the law of angular momentum is to ride a bicycle. To best understand spectral analysis; watch a sunset or a sunrise.
Other opposites that produce phenomenon: Hot and Cold air masses meeting.

Re: On Phenomenon by Mike Infinity

Hi Mike....a phenomena is defined as a situation that is observed to exist or happen and it becomes a phenomenon when the situation appears to my view.
I will use here an example: in 2000 my young nephew committed suicide. His young death became a situation of intense shock in my life. It had to first be a developing and progressing phenomena before it became a phenomenon in my life. Now as a phenomena it had to be borne along by developing facts or information not readily apparent because we get so used to the thought that life just flows along.
So after healing from this tremendous phenomenon I spent 6 years going back and recreating the not-so-apparent information that was bearing this future phenomena to its culmination as what became a sudden and quite inexplicable phenomenon in my life.

Tricky stuff this phenomena and phenomenon which as you say "expresses itself fully in itself."....I think it is more than we usually think it is...that would be my statement after 6 years of research....

Re: On Phenomenon by Mike Infinity

    Hello Mike,

Several years ago, I went out on horseback in the morning. The roadside ditches were awash with the briliant yellow of dandelions.

I returned hours later, the afternoon gone dark with the threat of rain. Suddenly I became aware of a significant change. Stopping my horse, I looked around and was amazed that where thousands of yellow flowers had been, now there was not a single speck of colour!

The moment of that realization was a phenomemon to me.

Closer examination revealed that each flower had closed up completely, the dandelion being a light sensitive plant, a fact that I researched upon my return home.

From Miriam Websters On-line Dictionary, the following definition. There may well be others.

    Regards,
