    An interesting comment, Graham.

    Are we not the sum of improbabilities to date, and that the sum of all possibilities still lies before us?

    My thoughts as I dash off to night shift. I shall look forward to the morning return and any thoughts elicited ........

    hmmm nah, nope ... nothing there ... nope, just checked again ... nothing ... nope ...
    Max Planck, said that “all matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particles of an atom to vibration which holds the atom together. We must assume behind this force is the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter.

    I would dare to state that aether and dark energy would be the same. Just two different names

    I could substantially agree with that.

    LW, there are theories that have objects vibrating at specific rates, signatures of the substance so to speak. Sugar, the moon, our bodies, in various theories are all vibrating and never in the same place for more than an instant, changing location infinitesimally with each vibration. A single vibration would have the duration of one quantum period and motion would be the net relocation of all the quanta over one quantum period. It is possible for an object to have little or no relative motion and still vibrate when each quanta individually "vibrates" within the overall object while the object remains in the same space essentially. These theories are not yet mainstream but they do utilize an "aether" which, like dipayankar suggests is substantially equivalent to dark energy. Still, only my opinion that there is any merit to these theories.

    Re: The philosophy and Attributes of ETHER

    not net perhaps but sum .. that which will have vibration or pulse is in structure that is moving and not able to get out of that structure until they can go cyclic symmetric or stopping on a dime out of linear motion. That which is to our perception of exist is in the structure of space. Hot cold small big ... lots of friends for a density ponder? ... perspectively as long a space is recognized as having "stuff" in it, you can call it as you will ..

    kind regards graham

    Right even probably the space time continuum. They look so similar and it would be difficult to have three all permeating medium. Aether, dark energy and space time fabric.

    Has anyone following this thread read the book, and is it relevant to this discussion?
    Hi Anne;
    LOL; you work with some strange people!
    The book is pure bull crap and has no relevance to this thread! They claim the concept is associated with quantum physics but that too is an absolute absurdity; there is absolutely nothing about it that relates to science! It's the kind of book Mikey would buy.

    LOL, thanks, Dave. You have just saved me money and time.......plenty of other things to attend and read with a new foal running around the place. Today, I have to 'child-proof' a horse pen, as we have not had a foal around in years and they need very secure containment. I's going to be a 'carpenter wench' today.

    in the attributes of a'ether having exist to effect able state passing through ... how can we have any constant?
