Hi Michael;

I thought of that and while not good for the environment, I don't think it's as bad as bags.
However those plastic containers that hold 6 packs and kill wildlife, they are bad. Bottled water while sometimes are useful is another environmental disaster.

Best to you Michael'

Pat

I forgot to mention in Michigan where I live they have a 10 cent deposit on plastic and glass bottles, so most people return them, or poor people will return them if they find them.

Not true with the bags that fly around and get stuck in trees and never disintergrate.

hi there plastic bags , on a windy day in the uk you will allways come accross a plastic bag probably from tescos
but one pound shops are the worst invention what is a one pound shop, its a shop that sells its items for a uk pound
with a choice of over a thousand items WOW but when you unrap and use them they are fairly useless or brake hard to imagine most items have been made and packed in china shipped across to the uk and then delived to the shops only to brake and be thrown away .

One of the worst inventions in my opinion is Alcohol. Personally seeing its destructiveness in my childhood. Also seeing today how it kills many young people in car crashes. In fact more people will die from alcohol related crashes this year, then all the people killed in Iraq, due to fighting. It is the destroyer of family lives and individuals. But because it can be fun also, it is ignored as one of the worst things in our society.

"I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious." ~Albert Einstein 1879 - 1955

"Condemnation without Investagation is the Heigth of Ignorance" ~Albert Einstein

"In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual." ~Galileo Galilei.

I will second that as well,have seen many families ruined through booze,and been
to many funerals because of its effects,in particular the liver!
