The Worst Invention

hmm's... lots of choices of mine are already taken... so i'll go with:-

hair removing wax
earwigs
wasps
mass food production
marmite
and..... mucus.

and I would like the joy brought by self cleaning ovens to be more universally recognised!!

Living as I do now in Turkey I have to say the very worst invention is the plastic water bottle,there are millions of them scattered all over the beautiful Med countries,here in Turkey the rivers are awash with plastic bottles.
