Hi everyone;
I wondered what the members might think as to the worst invention in the world.
Some of my picks were:
Cigarets, the Automobile , the Nuclear Bomb.
Any others?
Best to all,
Pat

Politics and Islam.

Hi everyone;
Michael;
I thought the wheel and writing were two of the greatest inventions.
Did you know that writing is a child of accounting?
The oldest written artifacts are made of clay and has to do with accounting information. Dr David Burrell,
in his book on western civilization said writing came to be when mankind started keeping records.( I digress )
The concept of social workers is like the concept of tax auditors, a poor record of accomplishment.
Neutralino;
What are your picks?
Sally;
No comment. ( Way to sensitive and I don't want anybody really getting ticked at me. )
I have another dumb invention; The Clock. Some crazy monks wanted to wake up early to pray. ( IDIOTS ).
Best to all,
Pat
Some forms of Government are ok and the Islam god is the one that says convert or be killed, so I tried to be specific. I should have said politicians. But after seeing the emergency squad in front of the church of christ today, I have to say churches and ambulances too since neither has saved anyone from death. hehe.

Hi Sally;
I'm not Jewish, but one of the reasons I have much respect for that religion is that they don't try to convert anyone.
Best,
Pat
Okay Pat,the wheel and writing are fine,I then choose game shows as the
worst invention.
regards michael.
