Love is a love/hate relationship. Hate is passion. Love is passion.

The reason we love to love is because we hate not to. And the reason we hate not to is because we love not to hate. So how can we both hate and love? Because, we hate hate and we love love, that is why.

It's like truth. Truth is both true and false. It is true that it is true and it is false that it is false.

But purveyor of knowledge hates love. That is because he is a hopeful romantic. Everything is a love hate relationship for him.

It's like discovering the TOE.

He said, "if I gave you my heart and then you turned away, I guess I'd be screwed."

POK loved somebody once, and it was like suddenly everything was taken for granted. Does anything matter anymore?

That is why when it comes to love it is a soar subject for POK. He looks into the future and wonders, "will love be there?"

This is my favorite song in the whole world and it's called "liberation" and it's about true love, so here it is

I agree with you that love and hate are just the two sides of the same coin LOVE.

Yes Love can yank your heart and soul, both positively and negatively. But we'll always come to it. What choice do we really have?

And in so doing the experience changes us forever, for better or worse.

I guess I view the opposite of Love not as hate, in that as I stated it's really the same thing. Yes you can hate the one you Love.

I think the opposite of Love is either indiference or freedom.

Indiference in that you don't care.

Freedom. Since Love is an attachment, something that binds you to the object of your Love, you are no longer free. Love can be possessive.
You freely give up your freedom for the object of your Love. This can be person, place, or thing.
