This is strangely the third time you've quoted this passage to me directly, Pat. Are you trying to tell me that Jesus won't send anyone to hell as a form of tough love?

"Love is the self-givingness of the Aware/Universe/God through the desire of Life to express Itself in terms of creation."

As long as it's a lovely creation, then more power to It and you, Allen.

I'm sorry for the redundancy Nobody. I can't speak for Jesus and/or God, but personally believe we create our own heaven or hell right here on Earth.

I think by following Jesus's advice, we can make our stay here more heavenly.

Best to you Nobody,

Pat

Very true on both counts I would say, Pat.

I am only trying to convey, as I was with Cosvis, that rejecting Jesus' advice or accepting Jesus' advice is accepting our own. In other words, with or without Jesus, you would love your neighbor for some innate known reason I would gather.

Actually Nobody, it was through a direct experience of God's love that I was truly able to understand and follow Jesus's message.
Prior to that I believe I was faking it.

I do have an innate concept of the necessity of community and family.

Put it this way, Pat. If you had the direct experience of love, would you love your neighbor even if you had never heard of Jesus?

Hi Tina;

Glad to see you're back and posting.

It was actually your profound statement that made me realize that first I needed to believe in God's love for me before I could pass it on to friends, neighbors, and yes even enemies. Without that true belief I was faking it.

Best to you,

Pat
