This is how it works.

I'm not talking about if or when the beggar is given money: I'm talking about a beggar sat, on the street with nothing. You cannot tell me that he has everything. Thus, the two are not equivalent.

This discussion has drifted to a more philosophical one, and thus I am moving it to the suitable place. Finally, I should remind all members that political comments are not allowed on ToeQuest.

It is only the ego's assumption to say .. that if a beggar sits on the street with nothing, he must therefore have nothing.

Perhaps this beggar is happy to have nothing, maybe for all we know ..his happiness lies in having nothing .. which is his equivalent to having everything.

But alas....
This is a new way of thinking .. please don't faint.

Also people if i say i love you .. please don't faint.

Simple isn't it.

Then why is he begging then? No.. I think it's safe to say that this beggar is not happy to have nothing, which is thus not equal to everything.

You do not know he is unhappy .. it is the way our societies have conditioned us .. that we say.. if i have nothing i must be un-happy.

If he is begging .. it is his way of survival in his world.
Same as a prostitute survives in his/her world.

Every-thing is a manifestation of the ONE FACE having myriad of expressions and experiencing.

Who are ''WE'' to judge it.

Oh, I'm sure he's extremely happy, sitting on the street, begging for money, and sleeping in a box in the rain, with no family or friends to care about him. Come on, get in the real world, melanie.

There is no such 'animal' as Normal.

There is no such 'thing' as non- sense.

There is just REALITY = pure awareness ... no concept in mind.

'we' are the experiencing ...... like it or lump it.

There is no escape,

Well, according to the dictionary, there is:

Nonsense: words or language having little or no sense or meaning.
which, as I said, sums up your posts in this thread.

What is a dictionary, but a conceptual man made tool designed to help him make sense of his world, because he forgot who he was and where he came from.

Seems like it's turtles all the way back down.
The energy transference will be handed to another animate object
One that is happy to receive the precious gift.

Re: Everything is nothing - 04-23-2008, 07:55 AM

'we' are the tool the 'primal one' uses to express itself
The primal ONE
IT IS THE ANIMATING ENERGY. PURE AWARENESS.

Expressing AS 'us'

IT expresses as a personal character 'you'

The 'personal you' and the 'primal you' are the same ONE

Two aspects of the same whole.
everything and nothing.

A gift of EVERY-THING AND NO-THING ... FROM SELF TO SELF

when 'we' assume separateness there will be THE 'APPEARANCE' of lack where really there is none.

It is The ONE LOVE dreaming differences where there are none

'WE' are abundant and richer than our wildest dreams > > > > metaphor!

A shift in perception might be needed within our unique human potential to think.

Animals don't think....They don't need to .. they live according to their ordinary functional senses ... they are the lucky ones.

Oneness is the key to dissolve duality
and move us into the greater reality.

'we' are still responsible .. as a whole we must take care of each other.

If say .. a beggar is begging and living rough on the streets,
maybe it is because no-one has taken care of him properly.

The beggar may never have met his predicament .. had he been cared for and looked after .... in the first place.

'we' have the 'conscience of compassion' we can choose how we want to live, and how we want to treat our earth and our brothers and sisters.
