    The Truth of Faith

    The Truth of Faith

Most of mankind holds on to the lessons of faith because the truth which is in our reach has yet to be grasped.
Faith, like a security blanket of uncertainty, gives us false comfort and warmth from the cold fears of the unknown.
This blanket of faith is made only of beliefs like dreams or thin air, a placibo in effect; or more truly, made of nothing at all.
Faith is faith, and truth is simply true.

They say faith without works is dead! Faith is an important neccessity for us humans,
without any we are rather saddened creatures. The "truth" unfolds itself before us as we grow in perception and awareness, for truth is really what we are the embodiment of,we are truth animated and clothed by that very principle.

Faith can and does bring comfort to many,we need it at this point of our unfoldment.

    Re: The Truth of Faith

Faith is a belief in the trustworthiness of an idea that has not been proven

Have you proven that you really exist MJA?

Of course not nobody has proof to that, rather we accept our existence on faith.

Faith comes before truth, first you have to have faith that a concept or idea such as truth actually exist.

    Best,

    Pat

    Re: The Truth of Faith

I have faith in your good nature, Prof, and I think you exist, but Linda sounds too good to be true. But probably you did something really right in this life.

Where and when is you wedding in case I am passing through towards Chicago? Not exactly likely I'll be there since that would mean bad news in Chicago, but…

    Re: The Truth of Faith

    Thank you Austin;

Linda and I are getting married in San Diego where my family is at and 1/2 of her family. The rest of her family lives in Phoenix and they are driving to the wedding.

This wedding to Linda is proof the life is an illusion and I am living in a dream world.

    Best to you Austin,

    Pat

P.S. I live in the Detroit area and you are invited over any time you are in the area. Just let me know and I'll give you directions to Birmingham Michigan.

If faith was true, it would be called truth.

MJA can you prove to me that you exist? The answer is no. No one can prove that. So I and you don't know if YOU truly exist. However you have FAITH that you exist absence of any proof. Therefore the faith that you have, that YOU exist, may be true or not. The important thing here isn't the truth of the situation but rather that YOU have FAITH that it is TRUE.

    Best to you,

    Pat

P.S. Faith comes before truth. This was the case when you were an infant, right now to the present. You really don't even know if there is really such a thing as truth or reality or anything else. Rather you accept these things on FAITH.

Maybe MJA is a computer, but I suppose we all are electrochemical 'machines', but I think something must exist for the experiencer to experience it.

If we see more of '+', '-', 'x' coming out, besides '=' then MJA might be a calculator. Just joking, MJA.
