Roy Porter was until his retirement Professor in the Social History of Medicine at the Wellcome Institute for the History of Medicine
Always wondered why the Wellcome maintained such a strong interest in the 'History of Medicine' -
generalize the repetitive pattern from recorded human history

The human desire is towards freedom
(can be defined (a geometry) - if necessary).

As the human becomes more certain of the nature of his repression
    - the certainty translates into a lower tolerance for it.

    At some point -
(where we are around about now)

    zero tolerance takes ahold -
    ~where~
    anything can happen -

    revolution -

    importantly
    - how bloody well so though?

    - the *human* desire.

Any human being who fears that during their life they won't have enough to physically survive -
    - even if fears unfounded

    CANNOT though actually be human.

    ~*~

Examine the various financial industries and observe how instilling fear is the motivation which fixes them in place.

    Insurance
In case something really bad happens and you'll suffer immeasurably unless you
    give me all your money
    .

    Pensions
At the rate at which prices are increasing, you'll never be able to survive in your old age unless you
    give me all your money.

    Mortgages
Yes - mortgages're expensive son, but look at the rate at which house prices are increasing -
    scary, isn't it?
    - if you don't get onto the property ladder now - you never will - now sign on the dotted line and
    give me all your money.

We all know all of this -
    - however we don't realise that the fear which money exerts
    prevents us

    from being human -

ToE needs to be understood by all people (species level context *only* works) -
    - ToE (however) cannot be understood if people are too scared to open their eyes to observational data (the world around)
    - the reason why people are afraid of looking up is money.

Fear of not having enough coupled with the human (animal) (selfish) desire to have as much money for oneself as possible results in ToE (ToE == happiness) being
    (to the average person) -
    unrealizable.

One needs to (the urge, freedom to) explore (scrutinize) reality before the motivation arises
    (naturally) -
to question why? {all of reality}.

Unless we're afforded the freedom to look -
    - we'll never get around to asking.

The process is similar to the handles breaking on a bag when grossly overloaded.

    --------------
    Summary
    --------------

The freedom to think -<- that's what money takes through eliciting fear.

Without the freedom to think -
one's curiosity cannot be piqued (the handles strained) -
    - and since the 'properly human' desire is to know and human happiness cannot be realised without ToE -
    money enforces despair.

    ~*~

The next time you see anybody with any form of 'showy' physical wealth which isn't average -
(the expensive car, suit, house) -
    you'll see our problem -

    those who buy into
'give me all your money' culture
enforce human despair with their dogged allegiance to corruption.

    ~*~

    Personally
    - I can't see people changing because of an argument which challenges an individual's morality -
because it's possible for the lesser mind to hide from moral concerns -

    - the only argument which might work -
'd be proof that current older generations are eating their young
    ==
'd be proof that the economic bubble which we have witnessed post-WWII was an inevitable consequence of population increase -
    - which (so the graphs indicate)
are about due to begin reducing (actual population numbers latent to drop in rate of increase of the population).

The entire financial industry has been a scam.

The only argument (then) which ??might?? work -
    - would be proof that current older generations have set up a global economic system which they (at their children's expense) will benefit
    from.

There will be no money for current younger generations to retire as population reduction hits full downwards tilt.

Current older generations enjoying luxurious retirements are being paid for by younger workers -
    - the entire global economic system is based around stock market year on year increases which of course can't continue indefinitely -
    - and have
    (so we'll soon find)
tracked the exponential phase of human population growth which we've been in since WWII.
... ... the exponential growth phase which is due to level anytime soon.

    People like this
Sir Fred Goodwin's £16 million (£700k pa) retirement fund.
    are feeding on your children.

£25k is the UK average salary -
he's taking 28 human equivalents per year.

Sir Fred Goodwin has no personal sense of morality and we can only be cured of his excesses by *all* taking a hit.
    Money must die.

    Money enforces corruption hierarchically -
the entire rotten structure needs fold -
it's important for all of us to shoulder the blame as a collective -
    - regardless of whether your're like Goodwin -
    - at the very top of the corruption -
    - or a few levels below
    - we've all played our part.

    Resposnsibility must be shared.

Re: ToE for the $tarving, homele$$ and uneducated

ToE is impossible to realize whilst there's an inequality in wealth.

    This is provable.

    ~*~

It's impossible to realise ToE in a world in which there is an inequality of wealth -

    - as the human desire *to freedom* catches certainty of the nature of its repre$$ion -
    - and sees the people who enforce this repression -

the natural human reaction is to react.

The reaction is proportional to certainty of repressor and to size or repression.
As one becomes more certain of the nature of repression -
one's tolerance for repressors (those who uphold repression) diminishes.

My personal observation is that even the smallest legalized theft (the builder or plumber who sends in a bill for 25% more than they quote to undertake a piece of work (for instance)) -
    - results in uncontrollable rage against the person who is stealing.

It's perhaps important to point out that the mechanism (which appeals) of throwing off repression
    - is in keeping with the 'bloody' revolutions which characterize human history.

*Not* by any means to do with the money itself -
    which is below contempt
    - more a reaction to the underlying module of man which drives an individual to cheat {desire,greed}

The builder who steals 25% on a £1000 job will have stolen less than the builder who steals 25% on a £2000 job -
    - both elicit the same reaction
    - because both express the same weakness -

    - that weakness which is responsible for the imprisonment of man by other man.

    - more a reaction to the underlying module of man which drives an individual to cheat {desire,greed}
    - without recourse to morality -
    essentially £quantity independent -

it just is or it is isn't -
    and when it is -

    - violent uncontrollable rage results.

I wonder how Jesus was feeling when he discovered a Temple turned into some sort of cheap shopping arcade.
Clearly - 'rage' is retained as human characteristic in even the most enlightened souls who we aspire to emulate

    - rage is an essential part of mandating change -

where the rage which I feel when I observe human being behave like animals -
    is clear sign -
    to me

that if there isn't change and soon -
    - that we'll shortly be entering into the worst chapter in human history -
    - one in which
    (sure)
    better
    afterwards

    during however -
    heads down -

you won't want to be around to see the indiscriminate flailing
    which animal
to maintain selfish treasures gained through legacy evolutionary

    anachronism.

Imagination feeds on the combination of reason (logic) applied to organized observational data -

    - if one understands a complex 'real' mechanism -
then one's mind is at liberty to play with this idea (imagination)
    'if and only if'.

    Imagination
    -> <- mind
    - a reciprocal relationship in which creativity is revealed as imagination through working on 'knowns' -
delivers ideas which are (subsequently) real-ized.

    Science as organized knowledge -
is the external formalization which we give to the organization of knowledge which occurs within our heads.

The scientist writes a paper only after she gains understanding of some up until that point poorly understood aspect of reality.

Science is a reflection of the human individual (collective) mind -
    - and is governed by the key concern in science of striving towards the simplest, most explanatory model.

ToE generalizes the mind (and science also since science is a function of the mind (and not of reality)) -

    ToE generalizes everything we know
    - to 1 simple model (a geometric expansion).

Wisdom then - as the experiential perspective of man
    - when man holds the model which human beings have
    (i) striven to construct externally collaboratively -
    (ii) internally (for ourselves)
    (iii) collectively.

    ---------------
    More simply
    ---------------

    [1]
Individual scientists build a complex jigsaw.

    [2]
The jigsaw defines a 'Y shape' (physical) (the bifurcation).

    [3]
All of reality can - so scientists show -
can be generated by cranking 'Y'.

    [4]
The act of cranking 'Y' for oneself - results in the jigsaw within one's mind (of unorganized observational data) -
    rationalizing
    (much like the jigsaw) -

    - into an internally held 'Y shape' (virtual) -

    at this point {wisdom,happiness} rRrRrRreal-ized.

    ~*~

Everything we know - must be a part of an EXTERNAL reality (higher mathematical order) which permits our instantiation (a mathematical expansion which delivers ever higher orders).

    rrreality -> internal reality
    RRReality -> external reality

    blend

    ->-

    rRrRr_reality
