    The Quantum Activist.

    The Quantum Activist

There is a revolution going on in science.

A genuine paradigm shift. While mainstream science remains materialist, a substantial number of scientists are supporting and developing a paradigm based on the primacy of consciousness.

Dr. Amit Goswami, Ph.D, a pioneer of this revolutionary new perspective within science shares with us his vision of the unlimited potential of consciousness as the ground of all being, and how this revelation can actually help us to live better.

The Quantum Activist tells the story of a man who challenges us to rethink our very notions of existence and reality, with a force and scope not felt since Einstein.

This film bridges the gap between God and Science.

The work of Goswami, with stunning precision and without straying from the rigors of quantum mechanics, reveals the overarching unity inherent in the worlds major religions and mystical traditions.

    Re: The Quantum Activist.

Thanks for the posts. A recent insight I had was regarding time in the universe. No matter where something is, events in time occur in units/rates that can be compared with each other. Time is also a component that's observer specific. Some previous thoughts I'd had were in regard to ones presence at some location should be determined by a self-detected influence relative to that location.

When you tie these all together, it matches some of the comments made in these videos.

Actions can have enduring influences - if you move a rock on the ground, it not only influences things at that moment but continues to do so. Similarly, arriving at that point where the rock was moved was also dependent upon previous decisions in order. The influences of actions or decisions are distributed and not localized to just a single place or single moment.

In order for there to be any value to this, observations of those influences and consequences needs to be present and this requires that those actions and observations be synchronized in a complete loop and exist in a manner that can be compared - the results of multiple possible actions needs to be evaluated and selected from in order that some determinable benefit exist.

If we look at the wavefunction in quantum mechanics, it responds instantly to changes in the environment, though the environment is seen as changing no faster than light speed, which is effectively just an observational bandwidth or communication limit and not a specific velocity in space. In a similar sense, in Relativity, these exist as an assumed constant velocity of light that is instantly communicated throughout the universe at faster than light speed.

So there is a common unit of comparison shared by everything in the universe and I believe this arises not specifically "out there", but instead as a component of oneself that is alterable - logic/structure/form don't change, but the manner in which these are viewed does (i.e. a belief in something that's a paradox is possible - time allows paradoxes to exist. A red ball is not green ... ah, but we can paint it green, given a little time! )

In terms of selection this means that things must be able to be altered, compared in terms of some value and a selection made. In order to do this, a range of possible "solutions" needs to be explored and in many ways this is just a straight line, inertial motion - there are two components involved in what could be seen as a single selection of both the "direction" to explore as well as the manner in which to loop back and keep a record of the next "foundation" or selection to build upon.

(There are more details that would appear to exist in this and it's interesting how something as simple as being able to select from various options could be considered something semi-complex to construct. You need an unchanging environment to both explore and make selections from - it itself cannot be changed, unless a selection alters it or at least places it within a new context in which such a selection has been made. You also need a common unit of comparison, based upon whatever metric is used for comparison and you need a manner to retain a consistent ordering over time, such that the results of those options remain correlated with their value and you need a manner to effectively enfold all this into a single "new" origin to repeat the process - and there are probably at least a couple other things in there that I looked as well)

... anyway, thanks for the links. Sometimes ideas click together and I enjoy it when they do

    Hi Steve.

    Thanks for your reply.

I haven't got time to digest it fully right now, i will be away for the next week.
I will look in here when i get back.
Meanwhile, I'll leave you with these videos that may link in with some of your own ideas/ comments.

    Re: The Quantum Activist.

Wow, here and gone again (You're fast!)

Thanks for the links. I was just listening to the first one and once again it seems right on There's a perfectly logical and timeless structure in which all things exist in all possible relationships (these are like physical laws) - our actions in time don't change that, but we instead move through this, exploring and "painting" it (subjectively) with a variety of conscious qualities. Time arises because we aren't perfectly determined and logical things, we can hold conflicting beliefs and change them. This both alters our ability to see what exists (by maintaining a paradoxical view, which limits what can be witnessed simultaneously) as well as allows for change to exist (because not everything is seen or known, you can "rotate" your view ) - energy has no specific form and conscious qualities can exist in many forms (i.e. the way a specific color is seen is not the only "correct" version, it's simply one that allows for a continuity over time to exist and maintain the same objects in the same perceptual space, though I think perceptions do alter some as well, except that they need to maintain a continuity and that means you have to be involved in those changes, otherwise it would appear discontinuous if something else altered them).
