science is at a loss, when it comes to understanding consciousness.

as per my opinion consciousness is the operating sysytem, which has different

platforms (living organisms). Phenomenun of consciousness is some what

explained by quantum theory- which in itself is odds with classical science.

Profet,

Soul, at least many of it's definitions, is equal to what I and many others call mind.

There is a very different definition of thought between philosophy of mind and psicology (the science). But this doesn't mean that one is wrong, because what science wants to know is different to what philosophy wants to know.

In science, you can define something, i.e. say what it is, by stating the previous and the provious (I've invented this word, but I believe it to be very explenational).

So, acconrding to scienc,e thought can be define as the process between the knowledge/fact and the opinion/believe. Also as the adquisition of these. Also as the containance of these. And others. So, basically, thinking is having inteligence. Being able to make brain-mind work.

In philosophy, it's all much longer and slightly more complicated. If you want me to post the philosophic explenation, let me know.
