absolute units - 08-07-2006, 02:32 PM

The real issue of fundamental physics is the unification of both quantum mechanics and general relativity. This requires the use of absolute units which conveniently normalized all fundamental constant to unity. If Newton’s gravitational constant is unity then gravity is just the ratio of square of mass over the square of distance. If the speed of light is unity then Einstein’s energy is equal to mass. If Planck’s constant is unity then quantized energy is equal to spatial frequency. Consequently, quantum gravity becomes the ratio of square of energy over the square of distance. This subtly hides the missing force factor which was completely replaced by the curvature of space-time in general relativity.

Time independence: [∂E(g)]²=[∂F(a)×∂r(a)]·[∂F(b)×∂r(b)] and Mass independence: a(tr(t)=c²

Surely Antonio, any unit that would represent reality would by that very
idea have to be absolute! As any unit that posed as relative would be in
truth false!

The absolute units of quantum mechanics and general relativity could not become a single absolute unit of a unified theory no matter how hard theorists tried. They been working on this problem since 1930.

Time independence: [∂E(g)]²=[∂F(a)×∂r(a)]·[∂F(b)×∂r(b)] and Mass independence: a(tr(t)=c²

Prehaps thats because Antonio, they have not considered that which is in
plain sight and they see it not?Consciousness, and intelligent design!I am
absolutely positive that those chappies who have been working hard on
this theory since 1930,would find the solution to absolute unit-s?
if they only used the very thing that brought all the universe into being,
Intelligent mindful intent!

regards michael.

absolute units only applicable to absolute quantities. So far, these do not exist in physics, things like absolute motion, absolute space, absolute time, absolute force, absolute energy, etc.

Absolutely right. Because human mind can comprehend truth only by way of analysis. That is by breaking the complete into pieces. Thus gets only broken truth. The mest TOE suggests that 'all is one' and that is 'mest'.We are treating four components of one complete entity, as four seperate entities . To make it simpler , we are treating, John [ the mass/energy), his life(the space) and his age ( the time) all as real.We are dealing with them sometime in absence of JOHN. Thats the crux.
