Good old Milo

Hi Fitz;

I've been an admirer of
Milo for a good many years. However reality is even simpler than he has made it.
I don't need a link to his web, its in my favorites.

Thanks;
Dave

virial theorem

as continuation to post #9, if E1=1 and E2=1/2 then these satisfy the equation E1E2=E1-E2

if E1 is the kinetic energy then E2 is the potential energy there are infinite values of E1 and E2 satisfying the equation. For 1 and 1/2, this seems to validate the virial theorem.

the square of mass

Newton's law of universal gravitation contains a term that is the square of mass; for example, between an apple and the earth or between the earth and the sun.

for m1m2= m1-m2, there are infinite values for both that satisfy the equation.
When one mass equals zero then the other must also be zero. When one is very large the other approaches unity or normalization.

This might be the same duality principle in superstring theory that Ed Witten mentioned before in his talk on the unification of all the other string theories.
