    Re: Amending Immaterial Science

A question or two for those smarter than me:

It could be that the universe (or a our part of it) is expanding; I'm not against it. There are implications upon time symmetry, since there would no longer be any if the universe is expanding.

So, since Emmy Noether used time symmetry to note conservation of energy, is there no longer a law of conservation of energy if space is expanding?

    Another question:

Some think that the redshift due to suspected spacial expansion means that photons are losing energy, but wouldn't this be resolved (the redshift) as similar to the sound Doppler effects, wherein the waves are only stretched s ince they are moving away from us? (If they are)

    Re: Amending Immaterial Science

So far, we've been getting rid of magical, immaterial answers to science questions, but I may digress into the area of determinating the shape of a photon to see if it has any bearing on photon decay, an old theory called "tired light", long ago.

I have a personal interest in seeing if the universe recycles itself, but, like, any good scientist, I must not let that sway me—but still look at both sides closely.

Expansion of space shown by redshift? Photon decay? Just a Doppler effect?

    Any opinions or facts?

If the radiation factor equals the expansion rate__then the conservation law is sound... Can we answer that question...??? I don't know...

This one is more tricky, as redshift could just as easily be tired light, thus maintaining the same real geometry throughout space__I don't think we can measure it correctly, yet... If waves were stretched, is what Tim and I are presently thinking about__trying to resolve the possible contradictions... Here's a thought I have some times: If a Galaxy is shrinking due to condensation, would that not be considered moving away from the light source of another Galaxy?

Motion: Resonating of Synchronicity for Evolution.

Yes, this and other movements may be happening that are not due to space expanding. For example, the Andromeda galaxy may be coming toward us since its light shows a blueshift.

If something like a Galaxy condensates, then formless space will be added to the surrounding formless space. Would this not, be considered an expansion of space?

The telescope looks at a black "nothing" area of space…

    …and finds everything.
